A friend of mine told me "be sure not to miss the restaurant that revolves at the top of the tower in Epcot". I was kinda at a loss since I thought I knew about most of the restraunts there. Does anyone have any clue what she is talking about. She said it takes about an hour to revolve around and that they said they were using the food grown below. I thought maybe this was in the Land Pavilion and I think I remember the garden grill turning. Any ideas??? :goodvibes

Does it still turn? I thought they had done some kind of renovation a year back. Did they change anything about it.?

I have never eaten there, but I think it still turns. I think they did some remodeling when the pavilion was closed to put in "Soarin'", but it seems like the reviews I have seen since it re-opened have said it still turns.

Yes, It certainly turns!

It is quite a nice feature.... to check out the Land ride below.....

Be sure to ask for a front row seat.

Thanks Maggie. Are those pics from Garden Grille? That bread looks yummy. Is is a character meals?

We had a great experience at Garden Grill a couple of weeks ago. Food was pretty good, but we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the character interaction and the service. The restaurant does revolve, but it does so very slowly.

Just be advised that is not an ala cart menu, it is "Family style," type of restaurant, called Chip n' Dales Harvest Feast.

Thanks for the WONDERFUL photos. We were such pigs when we were there that I forgot to take pictures. Can't wait to go back~!

The Garden Grill at the Land is amazing for kids--the food is simple, the restaurant moves, and there are characters. Come to think of it, it's great for adults too! ;)

We were there Friday and had a wonderful meal!! The food and the service were excellent. Everything just tasted sooo fresh! And we actually saw all the characters twice. This is now a must do for us!

Most of the Disney resturants are good.

Can you ask for additional food, if you like a certain thing more?

We were there in October '04. My sister just told me the menu has changed a lot since then, and maybe it's not all you can eat anymore? Is this true?

My kids will be so disappointed because this is one of their favorite places to eat.

Thanks
Julie

They had changed it, but they've gone back to the family-style skillet if that's what you are looking for. Hope that helps!

Yes, you can. :thumbsup2 I was just there this weekend with my [17-year-old] niece, and while we both really enjoyed the food, she especially liked the turkey, so she asked for, and received, more, no problem. The waitress actually told us it was all you can eat, and if we wanted anything, to just ask. :goodvibes

We also had Chip, Dale, Pluto and the Mouse visit us twice! I would definitely recommend this.

Okay what is the red stuff on your plate???? And what is that dessert? It looks yummy!
