I have been trying to do my homework on some restaurants outside of the park and know about the ones in Downtown Disney. I know of In and Out Burger, but are there some other restaraunts that are within walking distance. We are staying at the Candy Cane Inn. I seem to recall a Tony Roma's (on Harbor, I believe) and a Panda Express, but not much else.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

:wave2: Hi neighbor! One I've seen mentioned a lot here that is highly recommended is Mimi's Cafe: click here . This is next to the Howard Johnson Anaheim where we are staying so we will definitely be giving it a try next week when we are there. :cool1:

hth!

We went to the MiMi's Cafe in August. It was good and reasonable prices for that area. We also tried the IHOP nearby. The waitresses were great. My DS(1) was banging a spoon and babbling loudly. 1 of the waitresses came by and talked to him, told him how cute he was. She brought him several spoons (as he dropped them on the floor). It was nice not to have to worry about trying to keep our brood(4 boys) quiet. The place was noisy anyway. :goodvibes There's also a Denny's by the IHOP.

There is a Tony Roma's and it is pretty good. There is also McDonalds, Denny's, IHop, Mimi's, and Millie's Kitchen. These are all pretty much walking distance there on Harbor. If you're up for driving down Harbor a little more, there is a Red Robin and Joe's Crab Shack which are both great! There's also an Outback there and a Target across the street.

If your up for driving down Ball a ways there are several good places as well, a little Cafe on the corner of Ball and Magnolia comes to mind, but I can't remember the name of ti for the life of me, maybe someone else can help out with that.

I would also reccomend the resraunts in the Hotels, as they are also very good, if you want a quick, relatively inexpensive meal eat at White Water Snacks (Yes they have fulll meals) in the Grand Califronian Hotel and you can usee gate there for reentry, even if you are not staying at the Grand Californian, you just can't use it for initial entry into DCA.
