Going on our first trip in December. Any suggestions for QS OR TS restaurants?

DL - Blue Bayou, BTRBBQ (it is closing forever in January so if you can I would give it a try for dinner), Plaza Inn for the fried chicken

DCA - Cosy Cone, Flo's, Corn Dog Castle

These are just a few to check out

Surf's Up Character breakfast at PPH especially if you like Stitch.

In DL, our absolute favorite is Cafe Orleans. Their pommes frites are so delicious! And sitting outside to people watch is lovely.

We really enjoyed our Blue Bayou Fantasmic Package as well, but more for the ambiance than the food.

In California Adventure, we like Flo's and Pacific Wharf Cafe.

We LOVE getting beignets and chicory coffee for breakfast at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD.

QS...

Cozy Cone, Gibson Girl, Wine/Beer Bar in DCA, Ghiradelli Chocolate Shop, Pacific Wharf Cafe, Lucky Fortune Cookery, Trader Sam's, Lounge @ 55

TS:

Steakhouse @ 55, Carthay Circle, Napa Rose, Wine Country Trattoria, Storytellers Cafe, Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, Ariel's Grotto, Goofy's Character Dining / PCH Grill, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Cafe, House of Blues

I really wanted to try the monte cristo at cafe orleans but realize its table service? anyway i could get one anywhere else in the park? second, did they really stop the fried green tomato sandwich at hungry bear? I've seen varying reports? thank you!!

Carnation Cafe has been a very relaxing sit down and enjoy TS place for this family of 5. The menu is diverse enough to satisfy everyone. The portions are generous that none of us had room for dessert. The potato soup is awesome, along with the meatloaf (which I had them hold the gravy because I do not like gravy). Hubby loves the chicken fried chicken so much so, that is what he always orders!

QS I would suggest Whitewater Snacks in the GCH. Everyone will find something they would like to have off the menu. The nachos are very good, along with the individual size pizza with a salad. The salad that comes with the pizza is a good size salad too. The yogurt parfaits are yummy. Plus, you will find regular prepackaged store items (bagels, etc).

Plaza Inn for the chicken dinner. Sit in the atrium where you can watch people come and go on Main St.

For character breakfasts we like Minnie and 'friends at the Plaza Inn. It's a buffet but is well done and loads of character interaction. Fairy Godmother is spectacular! Plaza Inn also has a really good fried chicken dinner we get two and the three of us share it. Plenty of food.

The Monte Cristo is only available at Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans, both table service places! The three cheese version at CO is delicious!!!

Sadly the fried green tomato sandwich is gone :(

TS Goofy's Kitchen for character breakfast - great Disneyland experience

TS Ariel's Grotto - character lunch, surprisingly good food, great characters and a phenomenal setting - right on the Paradise Pier

TS Steakhouse 55 breakfast was soon good and soon relaxing

QS we always eat at Village Haus every trip as our last lunch in the park on departure day, great setting, decent menu, great location

QS Rancho Del Zocholo - good Mexican food (and we're from TX), great atmosphere, right next to BTMRR and you can see the trains coming into the station
