Restaurants ??

This will be our fourth trip to Disney with a 6 yr old and a 4 yr old. I feel like we have done most character dinings already (Chef Mickey, Castle, Hollywood and Vine). Does any one have a suggestion on where to take them for lunch and/or dinner that may not include characters but will still be fun?

I would think 50's Prime Time would be fun for them. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice for kids.

Sci Fi - very fun atmosphere dining in the car-tables & watching the old movie clips

50's primetime trying here this year, my DD thinks it will be fun.
Biergarten my kids love it here the umpalumpa band
Coral Reef trying this year for the first time going for lunch and atmosphere.
Cape May Clambake is fun because kids can draw on the paperlined tablecloths keeps them entertained.

My kids don't care about character interacton too much anymore so I am finally trying alot of new places.

I would suggest Ohana's dinner atthe polynesian the food is good and they have entertainment (Hula Lessons, coconut races, limbo).

Also whispering canyon Cafe at wilderness lodge can be fun.

50's Prime Time has a very playful atmosphere, quite entertaining to both children and adults. Little girl at a table near us would reach over and steal a morsel of food from her sister's plate when she knew our waitress would likely notice, she was trying to get a scolding out of her. Which she got, and giggled all through it. Delicious milkshakes, too.

Coral Reef's another good one, the seating's arranged so everyone can view the fish (and the divers!) while eating.

Sci-Fi is fun

'Ohana for dinner is fun, but it's family style, so I'm not sure if you are trying to get away from that in particular or just character meals

Ohana for dinner, Coral Reef, Biergarten,Teppan Edo, Sci Fi,I heard the Whispering Canyon just dont know how I would take the antics!!!! DTD places like Planet Hollywood, Rainforest, or T-REX
