Restaurants you miss

I really miss the ESPN club - decent food at decent price and loved the atmosphere. Never had bad food there and for disney - the prices were really good. Also miss Artist Point - was a hidden gem - staff was great and food was always excellent.
I'll agree with part of the ESPN club - the food and price. But the atmosphere was always way too noisy with all those TV's going.

Absolutely agree with the Artiest Point though. A wonderful restaurant with interesting menu items. Now destroyed by a character meal.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs. It was a quick service, not the old or new Wolfgang Puck table service on the other side. It's where Eet is now.

The food was always very good and if you had the dining plan, it was an excellent quick service credit.

The Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary. Yes, Steakhouse 71 is good, but it feels like it’s in the basement. The atmosphere on the fourth floor is much better for a restaurant. I also miss the Fiesta Fun Center at CR, with quick service dining and the huge arcade and the movie theater. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I miss Alfredo’s at Epcot, as well as the QS Pasta Piazza Ristorante in Communicore. I loved their thick crust pizza!

I miss the original Chef Mickey’s Village Restaurant that was where the Rainforest Disney Springs is located. It was TS, not a buffet.

I miss the Top of the World breakfast at the Contemporary. They had strawberries and whipped cream that were so good!

I don't remember a lot of those but I do miss the Top of the World breakfast!

Tangierine Cafe
Bonfamilles - miss those welcome beignets
ESPN Club - it was great to pop in and watch a baseball game to break up the walk between DHS and Epcot in the heat of summer

The Wave's lovely breakfast buffet they had in the Contemporary - DH & I loved this place - was relatively small but classy looking and delicious, also the original King Stephan's Banquet Hall in the castle. Was a delicious feast back in the 80's. Cinderella was the big feature. She kissed my then 4 year old son and he nearly swooned!! Wore that kiss all day lol.

That’s just one of the terms and conditions of a sporting event lol…

I’ll second Artist Point! I wonder why they changed it to what it is now? To not have a decent signature normal restaurant at a deluxe resort is beyond me.

I liked Bongos in DTD as well.

I can’t remember a ton because I went in 94, 08, 11 and then not again until 2022, 2024, and coming up in 25 days.

I feel that Disney wanted to Disneyfy almost everything on property including Artists Point. We all know why we’re here… we want an escape from the norm… a normal like restaurant is so not Disney…
