Looking for suggestions for a restaurant with a lot of Disney magic. My two sons and I are planning a trip in September. One son and his GF (who is a Disney newbie) will be arriving earlier than the other and I want to treat them to something special. I'm going to try to get California Grill for all 6 of us later in the trip, but any suggestions for an adult dinner with lots of the Disney feel? She is a vegetarian by the way, so that is a consideration. TIA

Depends on what you want as far as ambience, quality of food, style of food, etc. for an adult Disney restaurant experience. Jiko, California Grill, Ohana, and Boathouse (on a nice day) come to mind as unique Disney restaurant experiences with really good food. Ohana might not be ideal, however, for a vegetarian.

Thanks for the reply. We are staying at AKL and Sanaa is on the radar as I love it, but I'm looking for something more pixie-dusty if you can get my drift, for the first dinner. I've been racking my brains and thinking I am missing something.

They are arriving on a Sunday night so the Edison is out. I can't afford a boat ride from the Boathouse, Ohana not a good choice cause she's a vegetarian. We are doing Hoop Dee Doo as a family....hmmm

If you think Disney Springs has enough of the "Disney magic" for your group, I would certainly recommend Jaleo for wonderful vegetarian options and the wow factor. Also thinking Morimoto, if everyone likes sushi and/or asian cuisine. Both restaurants have amazing decor/ambiance and consistently great food.

I might think about Be Our Guest, SciFi, or 50s prime time for various forms of pixie dusty dinners that aren’t too expensive. Also jungle skipper canteen. For higher end food, Tiffins is nice in-the-park and Jiko is one of my favorites, though not terribly high on the pixie dust.

This is for next September? You’re planning ahead!

Great ideas with Sci Fi and 50's! I like the uniqueness.
Yepper - planning ahead. I'm so excited for this trip. It has been many a moon since my sons and I have been together at the parks and having their girlfriends there makes me want to make it extra pixie dust-ish. I haven't had to be concerned with dietary choices before and want to be conscious of this.

It's hard to get more adult-pixie dusty than Cali Grill, IMHO. If you want a signature, maybe Citrico's and walk out to the boat dock to see the fireworks afterwards? Have you considered a character meal? 1900 Park Fare or Storybook at WL could be fun. We really love Flying Fish on the Boardwalk, but I don't know if you would consider that pixie-dustish.

Flying fish at the boardwalk. I love the boardwalk at night. You can watch the high fireworks from the bridge on the way to the BC
There are entertainers on the boardwalk every evening
Jellyrolls is a great club w dueling pianos

Boma would also be a great meal. Not as magical as you are staying there, but usually a great meal w lots of vegetarian options

Il mulino at the swan is another great choice.

Maybe the Epcot Forever Dining Package at Rose & Crown? We did the IllumiNations one this past June and it was just wonderful.

Agree about Cali Grill. It’s still the gold standard for me, though you can find better meals. However, I can get good food anywhere but can only get Disney at Disney. Storybook Dining is also a new favorite.

If you want something “pixie dusted” try Storybook Dining with Snow White at Wilderness Lodge.

I love the Boardwalk idea! Plus we can take the Skyliner for a little trip. Thanks for the advice.

I'll look into Jaleo. Read a lot of good reviews. Thanks!
