Are their any restaurants off of Disney property that you can access without a car or cab ride? anything that might be a 10-15 minute walk?

Amy

They only place I can think of would be outside of DTD (in the crossroads shopping center?) Look at the google maps link below. The shopping center is at the corner of Hotel Plaza Blvd (HPB)and 535. A bus to DTD Marketplace then there are sidewalks along HTB that would lead you to the shopping center. Measuring with Streets and Trips, looks like a 1mile walk from DTD to the intersection of 535.

The map shows a Chevy's, TGI Friday's, Pizzeria UNO, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Sweet Tomatoes (GREAT SALAD!!)

The restaurants located at the Crossroads Plaza on 535 is the only location outside of WDW where you can walk to because of the sidewalks.

Pretty sure there is a Hooters and a Ci-Cis in there, and a chinese place??
We stayed at the Comfort Inn a couple years ago which bordered this...

If you walk from Downtown Disney it will take you 20-25 minutes to get to the restaurants at the Crossroads Plaza.

I also don't think the Crossroads would be a 10-15 minute walk from DTD, it'd take a good bit longer. But it would be easily accessible by cab.

If you are willing to walk the 20-25 mins to Crossroads, I'd imagine you would be willing to take a 20-25 min cab ride for some restaurants too.

I live in the area and there are some really nice restaurants over on West Sand Lake Road. Just google Restaurants on West Sand Lake Road, Orlando FL and you'll see them.

Also I want to mention on International Drive there is a spot called Pointe Orlando. Again, I'd say depending where you are staying it would probably be about 20-25 min cab ride too, but some of those restaurants are great. http://www.pointeorlando.com/

And if you are thinking of taking cabs, use Mears Transportation. You can plug in addresses on their website to see how much the cab will cost you. I love that they offer this. I lived in NYC and I prefer knowing what the cab will cost me. http://www.mearstransportation.com/
