Or between Carlsbad and Anaheim? I heard it would be a good idea to stop and eat dinner and let rush hour traffic go before heading back to DLR. We would love some good (but not overly fancy) food (treat for the parents after spending the day in 5 yr old Lego heaven).

Thank you!

We always go to Claim Jumper which is less than 5 minutes from Legoland.

We don't have these where we live so it is a treat for us!

We like their extensive menu and big portions.

Bellefleur Restaurant
CB's cupcakes
Haagen Dazs
Hot Dog on a Stick
Panda Express
Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill
Ruby's Diner
San Sai Japanese Grill
Starbucks Coffee
Subway
Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen
Wetzel's Pretzels
These are the listed food places in the outlet mall near LL. I also know there is an Island's there also.
Across the Fwy there is a Claim Jumpers, Sammy's Woodfire Pizza(which I like) also. Marie Callender's has closed

Just returned from 5 days in Carlsbad visting Legoland and SW.
We dined at Twenty/20 (Sheraton), King's Fish House, and Bistro West. All are located less than 5 min from Legoland.

Our favorite was Bistro West. :thumbsup2 The food was excellent and it wasn't the most expensive too.

we are staying at a hotel by legoland, but it doesn't have a restuarant on site... we have had a look on google maps - there are a dozen places to eat within 5 minutes of Legoland, so we will just move around those restaurants...

Drive down the main street in Carlsbad and choose...

I will be able to recommend one (or more) after we have been

Last time I checked, there was a Macaroni Grill (not too fancy, but nice, yummy, and kid friendly) in Oceanside.....just north of LL.

There's a great breakfast place called Tip Top Meats right down the road - they do meals all day but all I've tried is breakfast. For about $8 you get all the meat you can eat ( homemade sausges of different varieties, bacon, really good ham) with eggs and toast

German style food the rest of they day I believe.
