Restaurants Most Convenient to WL?

Hi! We'll be heading down to the WL in October, and will not have a car this time. Hoping we're not making a mistake as I read lots of complaints about resort transportation? Anyway, with transportation time in mind, can anyone tell me which restaurants (or resorts in which they are located) would be the easiest and less time consuming for a family of 4 to travel to/from? We'll probably eat at the WL one night, and do Chef Mickey's one night (yay for the boat!) and eat in the parks we're visiting maybe 2 night, but any advice would be well appreciated!! take the boat to CR and use the monorail for Ohana's or 1900 Park Fair. Go to Fort Wilderness Campground for the shows or their buffet restaurant and don't forget the luau at the polynesian

We don't like a long bus ride for dinner. Besides the ones at WL. Trails End at FW is a short hop (boat). Also, the ones at CR, Poly, & GF are easy to access. Just take the boat to CR, then monorail to Poly or GF.

Fort Wilderness is easy to get to for the Hop De Doo revue.
Highy recommended!!

Take the boat to the Contemporary, then take the resort monorail to the Poly where there's Ohana and Kona. Have a great trip

Depends on your timing, might be 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, do you catch the monorail as soon as you get there or have to wait for next one, variables like that will change, but you can't beat a nice boat ride and a ride on the monorail

Probably 20-30 minutes at the very most. The boat to CR is less than 5 minutes. The train to Poly is less than 5 minutes. The only variable is your wait time.
