I am hoping someone here can help me out.

I can redeem points on Milesource for $50 certificate for Restaurants.com

I looked at the site and can not for the life of me figure out what you do with the certificate! There is no where to redeem a certificate, and what would you redeem it for.

Thanks for any help!

Debbie

Hi,

Have you looked into restaurants in your area on the restaurant.com site? If you navigate to your state, and your city you will probably find a restaurant that you like. Choose a restaurant you like, it will have a write up, menus & sometimes pictures to look at. It will also tell you any stipulations the restaurant might have.

Then when you see one you like, you place an order. You print the certificates off on your home computer! You don't have to wait for it to come by snail mail! It's great in my book!

You are in luck. They are having a winter sale! 50% off of the already 50% off rates! You can't beat that. The code is: 93530. You enter that on the shopping cart page. It expires 1/28/05. You should be able to get a couple of good certificates for $50.

I think it's great for travel too. It can really save you some money on a restaurant you want to try.

Hope this info. helps!

P.S.- I just saw you typed restaurants.com. (There is a restaurants.com but it doesn't look like they sell anything.) It may be you just had a typo while looking for restaurant.com and that's where the confusion came from.

On the second page of the check out, there is a place for a promotional code. Did you try to enter it there? I didn't go past the second page, so I don't know if there is another place to enter, but there is a button to recalculate your total, so you might try there.

Chances are, that when you redeem from Milesource for the restaurant.com certificate, they will send you a code for a Mega Certificate. If you look on the homepage, under the heading "Gift Center", there is a link for "Have you received the perfect gift? Click here.". That's where you would go to enter the code for the Mega Certificate. You could then use the dollar amount of that certificate to redeem for restaurant.com GCs.

Milesource is notoriously slow in sending out awards. When you redeem, it will take several weeks for them to send you the code for their redemption certificate. You will then need to use that code just to place your order with the MileSource Awards Center for the restaurant.com Mega Certificate. Then you will wait several more weeks to get that Mega Certificate. The good news is that once you have the Mega Certificate from restaurant.com, you can redeem it immediately for your GCs and print them out from your computer.

Thanks alot!!!

The typo makes a huge difference!! Actually on Milesource it shows both, restaurants. com and restaurant.com.

It makes more sense. Now I only wish there were some restaurants near WDW that I like.

Thanks again for all the replies.

Debbie

Glad that helped. :)

I thought someone had posted a while back that there were some DTD restaurants. Maybe I'm mistaken.
