Thinking of having a Mother's Day meal at the GF. Either brunch or lunch. The party will be myself, DH, DS7, DS5, DS2, my mother, my best friend and her DH and their DS1. Where should we eat? My first inclination was dinner at the Castle, but then I thought nice brunch would be nicer. Any suggestions? Doesn't necessarily have to be at the GF, just thought that would be nice for atmosphere. It will also be our first day in the world. We arrive on the 7th. :cool1:

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

The tea is really nice for Mother's Day but not sure if that is what you are looking for. It might be hard w/ little ones. My DS was 6 and my DD was 18 mths when we went. DS loved it and wants to go again this year and DD was pretty good too. We also ate at the cafe near the tea, I can't remember the name of it and that was nice too. Not sure if they have a brunch or not. Another meal we really enjoyed and that was really pretty was the Crystal Palace. It's a character meal so not sure if that is what you wanted but the food for lunch was delish and the building itself is really pretty.

We had dinner at Flying Fish last Mother's Day. It was great. The atmosphere, food and service were perfect. The kids loved it, as did DW and I.
