We are going to Disneyland in late June for our farewell trip (I think) before we move back east. We are staying two nights at GC and I am wondering what restuarants to book. I usually don't do table service at Disneyland, because we usually just go for the day. So any advice would be helpful.

I have thought about the Blue Bayou, but please let me know of any others. I would be interested in DTD, DL, any hotel restaurants and as well as CA.

Thanks,
Michele

Well there are many that I would recommend to you, but it depends if you counter service or sit down service

- Blue Bayou
- Goofy Kitchen
- Red Rockets
- Bengal Barbecue
- Rainforest Cafe in DTD
- Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA

But if you want to have a look at some menus to find menus that appeal to you then check this link out, its awesome

Yes, I am looking for table service. Probably breakfasts and dinners. We are going to WDW a month after (a trip planned a long time ago) and have all the character meals there, so I probably won't do a character meal here, unless the food is really good.

So yes, we are going to Disneyland and Disney World in the span of 30 days.

I'm always partial to the Vinyard Room for fine dining in the parks.

Tortilla Joe's in DTD is also a fave.

....well of course you are. :rolleyes1 ... (:thumbsup2 )

But you couldn't fit in a trip to Paris or Tokyo in the next month or two?? :snooty:
:lmao:

hound :cool2:

Hmmm, I wonder if I could. :rotfl:

Really, we planned the WDW one ages ago and are going for my dd's 6th birthday and the grandparents will be there, etc. Then we just found out that there is a good chance we may relocate back to the east coast. So we wanted to do a fairwell to Disneyland trip. So yes, there it is, coast to coast Disney parks in 30 days. :cool1:

I know you said you thought of it, butI would highly recommend eating at the Blue Bayou. Just the atmosphere of dining inside the original POTC ride is thrilling for me. Definitely nothing like it at WDW....

Last time we were at DCA, we liked the buffet at Storyteller's Cafe inside Grand Californian Hotel. The kids made their own pizza and the wait staff took their creation back to bake in the oven and served them 10 minutes later. Not fine dining, but I liked the atmosphere. Priority seating reservation is a must and even with it, be prepared for a wait.
