Restaurants added to dining plan?

We are planing our next trip to the world and have noticed additions to the dining plan on the site.

-Rainforest Cafe
-Fultons Crab House
-Portobello

And maybe some others...

Anyone know if this is the case, or if the site is just wrong?

The 2011 Dining Brochure .pdf is linked in a sticky at the top of the page - use that. The website is wrong/confusing and the restaurants you listed do not take the DDP as far as I know (but I didn't go back and verify).

Not sure where you looked, but the Dining Plan brochure (downloaded from Disney World website) doesn't have any of those 3 restaurants listed on the plan.

I just looked at the official disney site, and those places are not on the dining plan. I wish they were! On our last trip we paid OOP for Rainforest Cafe, and really enjoyed our meal. The three of us, Dh, me, and dd3 shared the appitizer sampler, and had a couple of sodas, and our bill was only 20 dollars. I thought the food was good, and filling!

The site isn't wrong so much as it is misleading. All those places accept the premium and/or platinum packages, which Disney has decided to consider dining plans for the purpose of that field. It isn't until you click to get more details that you see that they don't actually accept any of the food-only dining plans.

As others have said, the .pdf brochure is the accurate list.

1) You are reading the wrong Plan.
2) None of these are included on DDP or DxDP.
. . . DDP does not reimburse enough to pay these eateries
. . . they want/need more profit than DDP allows
. . . they would either have to cut portions/ingredients/quality
. . . like so many other DDP eateries have already done
3) MOST eateries in DTD are not on the DDP Plan.
4) The Platinum and Premium Plans are not truly DDP.
. . . they encompass more
. . . so, yes these eateries are covered
