Can anyone provide some suggestions for restaurants close to Royal Pacific Hotel (not at the hotel or city walk) for dinner? We will have a rental car and looking for some good, affordable, family friendly restaurants nearby.thanks

try orlandocoupons.com for some great discounts.

I know you said you didn't want the hotel, but the pizza at the PBH is great and relatively cheap for a family--ride the boat over and enjoy walking the grounds after your meal. If you are there at the right time, the musicians could be playing.

And the portions are so huge at most of the hotel and Citywalk restaurants that we saved money by sharing meals. Wayyyyyy too much food for one person to enjoy.

you have about everything that you would find back home.

crackel barrel, ponderosa, those type of chain places.

flippers is local and has great pizza.
you can go there or have it delivered to your hotel.
you meet them in the lobby.

Off major blvd on carvan DR there is a cracker barrel we ate there good food and cheap for my family of 4 and a little futher up from there on kirkman dr there is a golden corral

Sweet Tomatoes,Cracker Barrel,Pizzeria Uno,Bahama Breeze,Buffalo Wild Wings,Cafe Tu Tu Tango,Golden Corral,Cheesecake factory and California Pizza Kitchen at the Mall of Millenia and basically every major chain restaurant seems to be on International Drive.

Last time I was there there was an Orlando Ale House across from the entrance. I enjoyed the food there. There's also a carrabbas if you like that very close

The Ale House and Carrabbas are both good. You also might want to try Bubbalou's BBQ...it's located in the Kirkman Oaks shopping center which is about 10 mins from Universal. It's very good and you get a lot of food for the money.

Here's the website: http://www.bubbalous.com

I agree Alehouse is a good choice, right off property. Sweet Tomatoes, at International and Kirkman, is excellent. A few minutes south on I-Drive is Bahama Breeze, another excellent choice witha "Florida" feel, but be warned, it gets packed.

We were a family of 7 when we went to Sweet Tomatoes on Intl and Kirkman, a 5 min drive. It was so good...everyone loved it!
