Besides Mythos and Three Broomsticks, what are some other recommended places to eat at the parks and at RPH, PBH, and HRH? Need recommendations in the park and for dinner. Any fun places to eat with kids?

I can't help with the hotels but for the parks....

IOA: Thunder Falls Terrace, Comic Strip Cafe and Blondie's are all good counter service places.

Studios: Louie's for counter service and Finnegan's for table service.

CityWalk: Margaritaville and NASCAR Grille are my favorites.

We like Lombard's Landing for a table service meal at US.
Islands at the Royal Pacific is good and Tchoup Chop at the RPR is great.
At City Walk we like the Latin Quarter.

The eats and drinks at Margaritaville are great! I was there this past August and it hit the spot. Plus the errupting Margarita Volcano and great music will be on my revisit list next time I'm at IoA. (Projected to be in Summer 2012)

Cool thanks! :thumbsup2 It's funny that Latin Quarter and Tchoup Tchoup were mentioned. The one and only time I went to US/IOA, as seven years ago; we stayed at the RPR and ate at Latin Quarter and Tchoup Tchoup. But, I was pregnant with DS, first trimester, and super sick. I could not hold much down. So, I definitely need to revisit all these places! Nice to hear the other recs for the parks and Citywalk.

All the restaurants at RPR are good and Jakes Bar and Grille at RPR has great ribs and ofcoarse all the park ones that metro mentioned are great :thumbsup2

How about the Italian places at Portofino?

I'm also curious about seating at Blondies. I liked the idea of the seating at Thunder Falls, but the food sounded more our style at Blondies.

And, City Walk sounds very adult oriented. Could we take DD5 and DD7 to someplace like Margaritaville or others in the area?

The kids will love Margaritaville. Ask for a table with a good view of the volcano.

Honestly, I've been taking my kids to almost every restaurant there - including Emerils and Tchoup chop, since they were infants.

I agree with Rip with the kids will be alright at City Walk. When I was there last August it was right as Universal was closing. There were lots of families hanging out at CW for some shopping and eating. I imagine during the day this will be more true.

Love the atmosphere of Margaritaville. And we had a great time at the Kitchen at HRH. There was a magician who went from table to table and performed personal performances. The food was really good and just lots of fun.

Also for the kids NBA City has an little Arcade inside to keep them busy and believe it or not ever time we have gone there we have been surprised on how good the food is. Nascar also had a decent game area but i have found the food there so so. If its anyones birthday, The Hard Rock stands them up on the bar or on the chair at the table and has the whole place scream happy birthday. You can always just tell them its someones bday just to embarrass them , which we have done on occasion lol.

Like Hockeymans post on NBA, where not going to try it but because of rain it was the closest restraurant a few years ago, and the food is awesome in it, needless to say its one of the first places we eat when there. Also love The Islands at RPR.
have never really been disappointed with anywhere we have eaten at citywalk, Pastamore is another FAV as well as others mentioned
