Hi
We are sailing on the fantasy 7 night and want to request my rota .i know it is not guaranteed.does it follow enchanted then royal court then animator?

I cannot remember the order for sure but that sounds right.

I usually make my request “Animator’s on Pirate Night” or “Animator’s first night” (that is my Magic/Wonder for sure).

I think it's Enchanted > Royal Court > Animator's > Enchanted > Royal Court (Pirate Night) > Royal Court > Animator's

I'd suggest making a request for whatever is most important for you. I always request "Royal Court on Formal Night" (which is the rotation above) because I like the most formal setting for formal night, but for others it's more important that they have 3 nights in Animator's, or Pirate's Night in Animator's.

There are many canned rotations for each cruise, usually following a pattern. Call DCL and they'll tell you what's available and the rotation. If you've a preference, you can request one of their rotations. They *don't* let you put in a specific rotation request that's not available. Good luck

The base rotation options are RAE, AER, and ERA. On the 7 night, these will expand out to:

RAERAAE
AERAEER
ERAERRA

Pirate Night is night 5, or your second time in the "middle" restaurant of your rotation and that particular restaurant you will be in a total of three times.

R - Royal Court
A - Animator's Palate
E - Enchanted Garden

When we boarded, we changed from a private table at late seating to a private table at early seating with the RAE rotation (all of which was requested and granted - none are guaranteed, and we lucked out).

We were just on the Fantasy for a 7 night cruise and we had the rotation ERAERAE. There was no back to back nights in the same restaurant. Those that had Animators Palace night one had it for 3 nights so that was the most desirable rotation.

That simply isn't feasible. As you see from MY rotation, I ended in Enchanted Garden along with everyone else that was in my rotation (approximately 1/6 of the passengers, or about 350 people). According to what you've stated, you and the other 349 people in YOUR rotation would have joined us that night. It doesn't work this way as the dining room isn't equipped to handle that many people.

If you truly had that rotation, I suspect it was a one-off of some sort for you.

That is the standard rotation for a Fantasy 7 night Western. The Eastern cruises are usually 1231231, like @SG131 stated. But there can be variations from these as well. Because of that, I recommend making a request like @Dug720 and @LittleMissMagic mention above. Ask for what is really important to you. If you want Animator's on Pirate night, then ask for that specifically. If you want Enchanted Garden on your first night, request that. That way, if the order of the rotations varies for your cruise, you have a better chance of getting what you really wanted.

Ugh. Too many variables to keep track of. Yes, mine was Western itinerary. Thanks for adding the extra details.

The 1231231 vs 1231223 rotations are different on Eastern & Western itineraries.

Not necessarily Animator’s is my least favorite restaurant ha :). It’s way too loud in my opinion. But that’s good for the people who love it. More chance for them for the 3 night rotation
