8-8-02 First we started with the Garden Grill at The Land at EPCOT. It was great!

I love the freshness of the salads and the dessert was a Lemon Tart!

On 8-10-02 we had dinner at Wolfgang Pucks upstairs. I had the $28 appetizer as my dinner and my son had the Yellow-Fin Seared Tuna. Mine was so-so but my DS loved his!

Hope you enjoy these Pictures!!!!

Excellent pictures! Thanks for sharing.:) Glad you had a wonderful trip.

One question: is Tappenyaki the Japanese restuarant that cooks the food in front of you like a Shogun restaurant?

Luv2Travel - In answer to your question...yes it is! It is pretty fun eating there and the food is always fresh and very good.

Thanks for looking!

I love it when you go to the world! You always come back with fantastic pictures and reviews! Thanks so much for the time and effort you take in sharing with us.:)

I wish everyone did that (I may on my next visit). Then we would all know exactly what all the dishes at different restaurants looked like and it would be so much easier to decide. Beautiful sunset behind your ds (and his steak)!

nutz4dzny,
What a nice review with the pictures! The dessert at Garden Grill used to be an apple cobbler with ice cream. Is the Lemon Tart something they do every evening now or does it rotate? (I would love the lemon tart!)

Thanks for the great reviews! I am a Garden Grille fan too. We eat there every trip.;)

It was great idea to take the photos of your meals. They all looked so good. It looks like you had a great time.

Thanks eveyone for the kind remarks! My family sometimes gets impatient with me because I won't let them eat until I get my camera out and take pictures of the food!!!!! LOLOLOL!

Belle5 - My DS was also expecting the apple cobbler but they brought this instead! It was very good!!!

Great pics. A very nice idea--I could easily take the pics, but I haven't a clue on how to actually post them!!
RE: Pucks upstairs--how was the service? Some previous posts suggested it wasn't all that good, and I'd like to know what you thought.

What a fantastic idea! Thank you so much for posting these pictures...definitely made me hungry!

Count me in the same boat as uncleromulus, wondering about the service at Wolfgang's Upstairs. The feedback here as been extremely mixed and I'm waffling over whether I should try it or not.

Thanks for the very professional pix of the delicious food. Your son is adorable and looks to be about my son's age (17+). I wish I could have a trip such as yours with only my son to keep me company. I know he would enjoy it (if he would just allow himself). The last Disney trip (last July) with him was a disaster since all he wanted to do was be back home with friends/music and computer. I'm hoping that with a few years under his belt he will again be able to enjoy all that DisneyWorld has to offer.
All the best, Wilma :smooth:

Great pictures. Looks like the menu at Garden Grill changed a little bit since we were last there in December 1999.

How cool ..... a restaurant review with pictures !!! Thanks so much for taking the time to take all those pics.

What a great idea to post your pictures! I am thinking that we must try the California Grill after seeing that wonderful picture with the sunset! And to think I ate McDonald's for supper!

Uncleromulus - I honestly did not care for Wolfgang's Pucks but they are my opinions only. First, we did not have PS on a Sat. Night and we jsut showed up and they said they could seat us! It was 7:30 PM. Well we got a table that was on the oustside of the restaraunt more in the lounge. A tall table with bar stool chairs. I understood since I didn't have PS but I felt like a poor relative invited to a party but only allowed to look in the windows LOLOLOL!!! Also, our wiatress was not a reg. waitress, she was a hostess. So she was VERY slow! I do think since we did not order drinks or appetizers ( I ordered an appetizer for my dinner) she thought we weren't big spenders so she ignored us! I kid you not when I tell you it took 1 hour exactly for our food to be delivered to our table! One time she came by to refill our water glasses. It is also very noisy in there but a lot of places are.

Then my appetizer wasn't what I expected....but that was partly my fault...I expected grilled vegtables with a beniet ? Sp? But it was a large chunk of fried dough with MASHED veggies inside a bread stuffing!!! The menu stated 'Grilled veggiess'. I did not care for it, also the fried chicken won-tons were very dark almost burnt but the 2 grilled gulf shrimp were very good! I mentioned this to our waitress who came back and said they took 1/2 off our bill for the appetizer which originally was $28. I did not expect nor ask that since I thought it was mostly my fault for ordering wrong but I was very happy with that! My son loved his Seared Yellow-fin Tuna! So I guess I would think twice about trying it again but it wasn't horrible just not that good! I still like Disney's Restaruants best!!!!

Wilma Flintstone - My son is 17 and he still likes hanging out with Mom & Dad. He is an only child and we always took family vacations and did everything together! This was the first trip my DH could not go on and I missed him so much! We did have a good time although I did not go into Disney Quest!!! I do not like all the noise! I went shopping instead!!!
