Does your spouse (SO) enjoy Disney as much as you do? Your children? How about other family members?
What do your friends think when you tell them you are taking ANOTHER Disney trip?

Me and the kids LOVE DL...DH would rather let me do all the planning and the hotel bookings, etc. He doesn't love it as much as me and the kids, but doesn't mind going.

My DH loves it......but I do the planning. I love that and he isn't very good at it, but he is always ready to go.
The kids like it. DD more than DS. They will both go.....again, I do the planning.
My BFF loves it, but doesn't get to go very often.
Some of DH's coworkers don't understand why he is going so often :rotfl:

Dh enjoys our Disney trips as much as I do, but isn't into Disney like I am. He lets me do all the planning, research etc, then I just tell him the info before we book things. My family, well we don't have kids so that one is easy. I took my parents for their 1st Disney trip last year when we went to Disneyland Paris for their 40th anniversary. They loved it and have actually mentioned wanting to go back next year. As for my friends it depends which ones you talk to. If it is our best friends the response is usually one of 2! 1) What time did you say our flight was? (They own DVC so we go on trips with them) or 2) When you are there would you mind picking me up a ........ My work friends just laugh at me!

John likes it just as much, mom and Dawn like it also just not as much. As for the rest of the family they don't say anything anymore when they here we are going again.

My family likes it just as much as I do. In fact, 1 sister goes every year. My friends do tease me about going so much, but they also think it's cool. In fact, when I couldn't decide if I wanted to do a solo trip, my friends are the ones who pushed me to go.

DH loves it just as much as I do. Wyatt & Gavinn love it too. Kendall (stepdaughter) not as much. She goes with us sometimes. But just doesn't
"get it" the way the rest of us do. My mom and dad like it and go with us occasionally. My mom says we should branch out and go other places too though! Everyone else around us just rolls their eyes anymore. Everyone has come to expect it, so its no suprise. People at DH's work ask him "why" he tells them, "until you go you just wouldn't understand!" :rotfl: He does have some friends there that love it too. So they get it!

I do all the planning. DH just tells me "tell me when to be in the car!" I start making our plans and let him know so he can schedule his time off from work. Then we both make countdowns on our computers!

Wish I had a countdown right now...... ;)

I'm the Disney nut in our family, both my DH and boys would perfer going somewhere else, they are not into Disney at all, but they do seem to have a good time once we get there. I usually go to Disney with my sister and her girls, they are into Disney just as much as I am and we have a great time together touring the parks and eating at the different restaurants. Not sure how my DH is going to handle year 2011, we will be going to WDW twice in one year, planning a trip for early January and then again in December for the exchangers' meet. Looking forward to both trips, can't believe I have another whole year to wait.

Friends don't say much since they know how much I enjoy Disney.

FIrst, I have to say the How to Wrap a Gift was hysterical! :rotfl2:

Bob had never been to WDW before our honeymoon, but he was an easy convert! We've spent most of our anniversaries there, I think we skipped a year or two when the boys were babies. We're thinking of trying to use our DVC points at Vero Beach this summer instead of our normal October visit to WDW, and the boys aren't happy about missing it!

As far as other people--I love how they can go to the same Jersey shore 18 times during the summer, but can't imagine how we can go to Disney more than once. Doesn't bother me, tho!

DH and I were never Disney fans much until we took what I consider our first Disney vacation in 2001. Luckily we both became hooked. Now I think he would drag me there a lot more than I would go on my own. :rotfl: He is definitely all Disney. Which I consider a healthier addiction than most.

What are your favorite "off the beaten path" restaurants and shops?
Those little tucked away gems.

It's not really "tucked away" but my family and I enjoy getting baked potatoes from the cart in Magic Kingdom. We sit at the tables in Liberty Square and watch the people and the riverboat. It's very nice:)

One of my favorite "tucked away" place to shop is the little Christmas store in MGM...er Studios. The one by Pizza Planet. It's so cozy in there.

My favourite off the path shop is also the Christmas shop in the studios. I love the Christmas shop in the MK too, but that is not really off the path!

I guess I don't know any off the path places :( Maybe I will learn some to visit.
Love, love any Christmas shops ::yes:: Have been to them all many times (unless there are some I don't know about ;) ).

I almost forgot about DLRP! My favourite off the path place there is the shareholders lounge!! As a shareholder I get access to Salon Mickey, there we get a private entrance to the Disneyland park, a lovely charming Victorian style lounge to sit in full of memories of Walt, drinks and proper French pasteries to munch on!
