Restaurant reviews and recipes...formerly Disney QOTD

I've only had TS at DHS and we've enjoyed that so, no answer from me today. :)

I did not like our experience at ABC Commisary at all....never going back.
Don't eat pizza, and the salad I had at Pizza Planet was terrible, so don't plan on doing that one again either.

Least favorite is hard anywhere because I never had a complaint yet (of course we have only been to Disney 9 times so far).

I've only eaten at the CS near Indiana Jones & Sci-fi--both are OK, nothing special. I don't usually do more than a morning at DHS. I either eat lunch at the hotel or go to another park & eat.

I've eaten at 3 different TSs and the only CS was at the Pizza Planet. We had the pizza, it was ok, would I eat there again yes, especially if I have my nieces with me.

We like Rinforest Cafe, but I want to try HOB (unfourtantly nothing on the menu that John would eat, sigh).

Rainforest Cafe. I've never had a bad meal there.

My DD and I managed to get a spare evening to shop on our last trip while the guys swam. We went there for dinner and DD had a cheeseburger that must've been to die for. When asked how her trip was, she never leaves out how amazing the burger at RFC was. Says it may have been one of the highlights of the trip. :wizard:

Wolfgang Puck's--you know, the fancy one. I had an amazing meal there in 2007. And the carrot cake is fantastic.

I would have to say House of Blues for me. DH would say Fulton's.
Love RFC, but never go to the one DTD, always at AK (because of lack of choices there).

Yes he does eat steak or burgers but if they have anything on them forget it. There have been plenty of times that I mentioned the steak has Au jus sauce and we won't even try it.

Hey it looks like the menu has changed since the last time I looked at it, because even he looked one time and said no he wouldn't eat anything.

I've never eaten TS at DTD. In fact the only thing I have eaten at DTD was a huge cup cake from Goofys candy co.

You can always ask for things left off too.....if it has a sauce he doesn't want, tell them to leave it off.

Are you going to ask about our favorite TS in DTD? is that for tomorrow. I'm asking because I probably won't be around much tomorrow, I'm watching my nieces. If the weather's nice (and it's supposed to be), I want to do stuff with them outside. I only ask because my favorite DTD CS is my favorite CS of all of WDW--Earl of Sandwich--with my 2nd favorite place--Ghiradelli's!

I'm with you Missy!! The Earl of Sandwich is one place we never miss!!! ;) The sandwiches are great and the price is right because as you know meals can get pretty expensive at the World!!!:scared1::laughing: We also like Wolfgang Puck!! :thumbsup2 I love their BBQ chicken pizza and butternut squash soup! That's another place we always try to never miss!:thumbsup2
And yes Missy I totally agree there is no better place to end the night than at Ghiradelli'!s!!;):rotfl:

and yes, tomorrow will be CS :rotfl:
So a couple of you are done with that ;)

For CS I agree with others, we enjoy the sandwiches at "Earl of Sandwich", their sandwiches are really good, we've eaten there twice now and will probably go back on our next trip to WDW.* When it comes to ice cream we just love going to Ghiradelli's also. We always skip lunch one afternoon and head over to DTD and have lunch at Ghiradelli's, it's an ice cream lunch. The best kind of lunch.

We have only done Ghirardelli for CS and agree with Jean an ice cream lunch is the best. :rotfl:

We were going to try Earl of Sandwich this past Feb. but the place was beyond packed.

Also for another TS I love Planet Hollywood.
