ROTD.....1-26

Chef Mickey's

Had breakfast there in 2004. Not a place for a relaxing meal--loud & crazy at times. But I was there with Dana & Sammie (Dana was about 20 months old, Sammie was 5 1/2) & they loved it! If I was traveling without kids, I don't think I'd go there. The food is OK.

I've been there several times. Typical buffet food, nothing special.
Characters were fun......they actually paid attention to 2 adults there which a lot of the character places haven't.
Don't think I would go back though.....until grandkids. Other places I would rather eat at.

Was thinking about last Nov. but it was very noisy so we didn't eat there.

ROTD.....1-26

Chef Mickey's

We've eaten there several times, as the CR is one of my favorite places to stay. I agree that it always seems to be busy and noisy. It is fun with the characters there though. Looking forward to taking DS there someday!

One place we have never eaten. Seems like from what I hear or read people either love it or hate it. :confused3

If it was called Chef Mickey's in the '80's we did eat there with the DSs, but it wasn't so great that we've ever gone back.

1st time in 2006, with HUGE family - 16 of us - loved it! :cool1: Special cakes ordered too. ;) Last time, in Oct '09, just us 4, loved it again! I have 2 ADRs for June right now, breakfast and dinner! :thumbsup2 Can't wait! :cool1: Better than average for buffet, imho.

I've eaten there twice.....one rainy, miserable evening and it was nice to get inside.
It was good.
The other time it was the lunch spot on a tour and there was a lot of food served family style.
Very good.

Have only eaten there twice.
That was actually our first WDW restaurant. The service was really bad. The food good, but way over priced. So we avoided it for years.
Probably a few years ago we ate there again and food and service were much better.
But really, guess I rather eat elsewhere, as we have not returned.

We are eating lunch Saturday at Chefs de France.... :woohoo: We have not posted about them yet, have we?

Not yet, so many restuarants.....it will take some time.
We have a lot to go!!

We enjoy eating at Mama Melrose's and the nice thing is that we've been lucky with last minute reservations. We booked a lunch for our January trip just a day or two before we went there. All 8 of us enjoyed the meal, well, there may have been one grumpy DGC.
