Pecos Bills Lunch MK-
Really busy, but a great location in MK for lunch. We loved the topping bar, but I was disappointed that both sides were out of lettuce and waited for several minutes, but it was not replaced. Grade: C
Wolfgang Puck Cafe Lunch-
Downtown Disney. We ate outside on the covered patio overlooking the water. Ted had the sushi sampler $25.95. It was great. The pieces were a bit big. He particularly liked the Miso soup it came with. I had a flatbread pizza (4 cheese). It had fontina, goat cheese and Mozarella with pesto and tomato slices. YUM! I also had the iceburg lettuce salad with bleu cheese dressing. It was fantastic. Total bill with tax and tip for lunch, $60.85 Grade: A
Emerils at Universal City Walk
Fantastic service!!! We had 4 servers who catered to our every need. We shared the andouille sausage for an appetizer. It was ONE piece of sausage cut in half lengthwise for $9.50. Ted had a bousin cheese stuffed beef filet and I had a bleu cheese filet. Both were excellent! I also had the Arugula, Endive and Radicchio salad and Ted had the stacked (tomato) salad. For dessert we shared a slice of banana cream pie. Total bill with tax and tip was $154.87 Grade: A+
Trails End Buffet, Fort Wilderness Campground
Cheap and comfort food. Ted liked it better than I did. There were rolls, breads, cornbread, fried chicken, ribs, buffalo meatballs, salads, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, steamed vegetables, and jello or fresh fruit for dessert. Soft drinks are included Not bad for the price. The place was empty but surprisingly loud. Felt like a cafeteria to me. You don't need a PS. Total bill with tip for 3 adults was $58.59 Grade: B
Chefs de France, Epcot Dinner
Our server was great and doting (almost too much so). It was hard to understand him as he had a very thick accent. Ted had to "translate" for me. Ted ate the lobster bisque which was very lobster-y (pureed), the Roquefort salad and the lamb shank. I had a house salad, a beef filet au poivre with potato gratin. YUM!!! For dessert, I had chocolate raspberry cake and Ted had an apple tarte tatin. Total bill with tax and tip was $107.55 Grade: B+
Crystal Palace MK Breakfast
I have always been a fan of Hollywood and Vine. This buffet far surpassed H&V for breakfast. We didnt' get a lot of character interaction (bad timing) but the food was plentiful and delicious. My favorite were the cheddar Cheese potatoes. Ted loved the biscuits and gravy. Total bill with tax and tip $42.19
Grade: A
Boma Animal Kingdom Lodge
We decided to give it another try. We ate at Boma in Nov. 2001 and were not at all impressed. This time was much better. Boma still has its wonderful desserts. You must try the prime rib, the pork loin with coca cola sauce, and the chicken salad! Our server was Jules. Ask for her. She's excellent. She had us sign her autograph book, and thought to bring a form for us to fill out to get any recipes we wanted. The recipes were in my email at 9am the next morning! Total bill with tax and tip for two $61.10

California Grill Contemporary Resort
Our engagement dinner. We were lavished with congratuations upon check-in and brought to the best window seat in the house, facing the castle and set slightly apart from other tables. We were doted on, and given extra champagne. I started with a 4 cheese flatbread and had the pork tenderloin. It was cooked more than it has been in the past. It was great as usual. Ted started with the sashimi. He liked it better than the sashimi at Wolfgang. Again, the pieces were a bit big for him and his chopsticks. He's getting good with the chopsticks though. For dinner Ted had the beef filet with cheddar potato gratin. For dessert we shared a hazelnut chocolate crunch pyramid. It was BY FAR the best dessert I have ever eaten! YOU MUST TRY IT!
Dinner with tip and tax $145.08 Grade: A+
Ted also asked me to mention that on Wednesday night, we ate my homemade lasagna and his homemade meatballs. We're biased but grade A+. Total cost around $20.
