Well, we returned from our week after Thanksgiving trip, and I just wanted to give a short review. It was myself, DH, DD4 and DD1.5. Here's some of the highlights:
Spoodles takeout window pizza - DH & I were excited for this cuz we loved it in 2000, but now it was terrible! Very spicy, and overall no on really cared for it. "C"
Chef Mickey's Dinner- This was a good buffet. I loved their whipped butter (I know, not really a meal, but SO good). DDs ate the mac and cheese and pizza, which was tasty. "B"
Pizzafari - Ok. DH & I are picky with pizza, but it was not bad. DDs loved it. Fairly simple cheese pizza. "B"
Restaurant Marrakesh - I had the lemon chicken which was very good. DH had the chicken kabobs which he enjoyed as well. DDs didn't care for their hamburgers, but ate the fries and loved the rice "B"
ESPN - Everyone loved this. DDs had mac and cheese again (as they did most of the trip). I had a burger which was very good. DH had a chicken sandwich which he enjoyed as well. "A"
Cosmic Rays - Dinner here. Burgers and fries. Basic stuff, pretty good. DD1.5 loved the entertainment "B+"
Cinderellas Royal Table - Breakfast was very good, and we normally don't eat much breakfast. French toast sticks for the girls, and eggs, french toast, cinnamon rolls, much more for us. Everyone liked this, and it was much easier than the buffets. "A"
Crystal Palace - This was very good. The desserts were excellent and had a great selection. DDs had mac and cheese again and seemed to like it as usual. The pork was very good also. "A"
Plaza Restaurant - This was a very good lunch. I had a philly cheesesteak, DDs had malts, DH had a chicken sandwich? We enjoyed this as well, especially for an unplanned stop "A"
Kona Cafe - This was also a last minute stop, and was the best meal of the trip. We weren't that hungry, but DH & I split the Char crusted filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. YUM! I wish we both would have gotten our own. Definitely going back next time. "A+"
Columbia Harbor House - Very good chicken strips, and fish, (and of course, mac and cheese) Got very busy for dinner by the time we left. "A-"
As far as Chef Mickey's, I think we'll try the breakfast next time. Places we definitely will go next time: Kona Cafe. Places we possibly will go, depending on trying new places: Plaza, Crystal Palace, CRT.
The rest were good as well, just depends on our schedule for next time. Restaurant Marrakesh, we most likely won't return to for awhile. The food was good, but it was a difficult restaurant with our DD1.5...very quiet except for 5 min of the belly dancer. Also, get the Mickey ice cream bars. Those we got twice and everyone loved those!
