It is becoming even more real - I just made my dining reservations:

We arrive Sunday and are booked in at the Silver Spur for 2pm!!!

Monday we have kept clear, but are likely to go to the early showing of Buffalo Bill's

Tuesday is free at the mo, but we will probably do either King Ludwig's or Rain Forest Cafe

Wednesday at the Steakhouse for 4pm

Thursday is our last night, so we are booked in at Walt's for 6:30, 45 min before the parade. Hopefully we can get a window table.

Friday we have left free so we can try to see our dear UKFAN friends, but we may try to go to Annette's for lunch before we leave.

I am starting to get so excited....we may do a character breakfast or tea, but we thought we would see what character encounters we have at the hotel first (we are at the Hotel New York, so they are usually pretty good).

Oooh I'm jealous, could you take some photos of the menus, please!

Are you using half board vouchers?

Ok, I will try to remember. We often take pics of the food too (sad, I know).

No vouchers. We tend not to use them because we have APs and get the discount, free apparetif, and like to choose (kids don't always eat much, or the vouchers make life challenging). I learnt a long time ago that unless you are all adults - Dining plans at WDW, DL or DLP do not work well for us.

Great thanks, I love seeing food photos (although it makes me very hungry!)

Yay! It's all very exciting when you have your dining sorted...I can't help but plan for my Janu tip already! Cant wait to hear about the Steakhouse. Might give this a try next time!

Well this will be our 50th visit to DLP, and it will mark our 10th trip to the Steakhouse. It is my 2nd fav restaurants after the California Grill (but Ca Grill is too pricy for the way my little ones eat these days).

Yep - I am addicted.

DLP 50 trips - Tesco's Clubcard and APs make it so much easier.
DL 300+ (lost count - grew up in California before 1986, have been 5 times since moving to the UK)
WDW - 6 times.

You lucky thing! I wish I'd gone to DL more whilst at UCLA but it was prety far to get to Anaheim and with Universal only 20 mins away I seemed to spend a lot of time there!

Lol, I know what you mean. I wish I had always gone to all the parks more. But Disney was always my main motivation to work hard and study. I suppose that's why I get grumpy when I see things I don't like.

I am lucky in that I travel a lot for work and can sometimes take my family with me, so Disney takes up a lot of our vacation time (60%)

We arrive a few days before you (Fri. late afternoon.) We do have reservations for Buffalo Bill's on Monday though ... thought the kids would like it!

Sounds like you have a good plan! Hope you all have a fab time!

Thanks folks.

So where are you dining? I hope your kids like BBWWS. I love it with 12 shows under my belt, but this is the first time for my kids.

WOW! You have made some great choices - I hope you have big appetites!

Great choices, both of you.

I'm not sure I could personally eat that much food Sherette, but each to their own :goodvibes

I don't know that we can eat that much either! Just wanted to try a variety so when we go back (getting APs) we will know our favs.
We'll see how it goes? :rotfl:

Some good choices there, however I am surprised to see Walts missing from this list (have you eaten in these places before?) I wouldn't do the tea party and Ca Grill on the same day unless you have 9:30 dinner reservations.

Also, I would swap out Blue Lagoon for Walts personally. But then again I have never had a good meal at Blue Lagoon despite 5 attempts.

Enjoy! If you see a family of four walking around with mouse ears (rare at DLP), feel free to say hi!

We actually haven't been to Walt's ... I think DH thought it would be too American (as we are American, he wanted something different)? I may need to switch a few things around then?:confused3
