Restaurant Reservations question

How far in advance can you make WDW dining ressies? Do you have to put deposits down? A friend is going to be getting ressies at Hoop dee doo, Brown Derby with the Fantasmic package and the Fullton Crab House? ...any suggestions, info that you can share?

Up to 180 days (6 months minus a few days) in advance of your arrival date if you're staying on-property or of the date you're eating there, if not staying on-site. Some require pre-payment (including HDDR), some require a credit card guarantee and will charge you only if you don't show up (including the Fantasmic! package), and some (most) are neither.

The Fantasmic! package is in really high demand, so it's usually a good idea to call as soon as you're eligible to do so if you want it, especially if you want it on a specific date.

the only ADR's that I have had to put a deposit down are Signature Restaurants like Cali Grill.
