A second under 3 and he's free trip (thanks Hurricane Frances). Me, DW and DS, age 2. We purchased the new Disney Dining Plan. We brought stuff from home for breakfast (we drove) and P, B & J for some of DS meals (very picky).

Sat 2/5 Lunch ASSp Food Court: In our 5 visits have never really had a bad meal at any food court except during the craziness of Hurricane Frances. I had the Chicken Parmesan and DW had Chicken Quesadillas. Both very good.

Dinner 'Ohana: DW and I like it for different reasons. She loves the green beans, rice and most of the appetizer stuff, while I love the meats. With the dining plan we did get dessert, Mousse and Passionfruit Cheesecake-both very good. We did have indifferent service.

Sun 2/6 Lunch Tusker House: Me - Salmon, DW - Turkey wrap. The salmon was probably the second best meal I had the entire trip (including sit-down meals). DW ordered turkey wrap w/ no tomato, we had to wait but they gave us a full wrap (normally the meal would consist of a 1/2 a wrap). A nice CM helped me carry the 2 trays out to our table, DW was with sleeping DS.

Dinner LeCellier: My best meal, DW wasn't happy with what she ordered. We both got the Cheese Soup-loved it, loved the pretzel bread, I had the Filet Mignon, DW a Shrimp Pasta. Our server, Derek was our best of the trip.

Mon 2/7 Lunch ASSp Food Court: DW got the Taco Salad she eyed on Saturday, I got the Chicken Quesadillas that she had gotten before. Again everything was good.

Dinner Boma: I realize the menu here rotates, so I think on our previous 2 visits we must've hit a better menu day for us. Not sure if we'd come here and to 'Ohana again in the same trip. We had indifferent service, very similiar to 'Ohana. Sometimes I think the servers treat you different if you don't order alcohol, and therefore their tip might not be as much.

Tue 2/8 Lunch Pinocchio's Village Haus: Both of us got Cheeseburgers, me a double bacon one. They were okay, a little dry. The fixins bar was nice and well kept up. Hot cheese sauce was there, good on the fries.

Dinner Cinderella's Royal Table: I had the plainest Spice Crusted Tuna you could imagine. Not sure what spices were encrusted, but they were bland. DW had the Pork Tenderloins which I considered and were okay. Believe it or not that a restaurant housed in Magic Kingdom where 1/3 or more of the patrons are children does not serve french fries. They said that french fries are bad for Cindy's complexion. DS stared at his meal of grilled cheese, mashed potatoes and corn as if he was saying what is this. We both ordered the 3-layer chocolate cake and split one and took the other with us. (We had it for breakfast. Bill Cosby's school of thought: cake=flour+eggs=good for breakfast. From a classic video of his.) We had table 16, window seat, centered overlooking Fantasyland. When Wishes went off, the view was perfect, especially for DS, whose highchair was facing the window.

Wed 2/9 Lunch Lottawatta Lodge: After a 30 minute wait to order, I had the Cobb Salad which was not bad at all, DW had the Chicken Sandwich. It was okay, just not worth the wait. We almost could've walked back to ASSp and had lunch, then walked back in the same amount of time.

Dinner Concourse Steakhouse: Both of us were guided to the Filet Mignon by our server, it was good, we were happy with it. We were seated so that our DS could see the monorails passing by-he loved it. He waved at everyone of them the whole time we were there.

Thu 2/10 Lunch Electric Umbrella: We enjoy this more than most of the counter service restaurants in the WS. We both love the Ham & Cheese with the pretzel bread bun. The fixins bar is a bonus.

Dinner Crystal Palace: I was kind of disappointed in this. We've been here twice before for lunch, but never for dinner. It seems like some of the dishes/meats I remember from lunch were switched at dinner for things I didn't like. For example, I'd rather have marinated flank steak than prime rib. We were done eating for about 20 minutes but still waiting for Tigger and Eeyore to see us. I think we were spoiled by our September 04 (hurricane Frances) trip. It was slow and I bet the characters visited us 3-4 times each that day.

So happy to see a good review of Le Cellier Me and DW are anticipating going there this next trip since just the two of us first real vac or time away from little ones cant wait to make my ps for this I've heard of the cheese soup and it has my mouth watering

Thanks for the info!

We are trying the new dining plan on our April trip this year and looking forward to it!

Enjoyed your reviews. Did the dining plan work well for you?

The dining plan worked good for us on this trip. We spent $420 and have receipts totalling $583. We had some problems with the snack portion of the plan, I have another thread about that. Not serious enough though to stop anyone from getting the plan.

Thanks for the candid reviews, I love to know the good and the not so good : )
