Restaurant regrets

First time to Coral Reef was great (2017) went again in 2019 it was absolutely terrible, Waited forever for someone to take our order then it took over an hour to get the food that was lukewarm and over cooked. Vowed never to go back

The Chinese restaurant at Epcot is the worst food I've ever had on property. Not even to the quality level of the frozen dinners you get in the grocery store.

When did you go to the Yachtsman? we have reservations towards the end of October and am hoping it's good.
I'm not the person that posted, but wanted to say that DH and I went to YSH about 6-7 years ago and had a delicious meal.

Beaches and Cream, the food was perfectly average, as expected. The real reason we went there, the No Way Jose was awesome as usual. Service was efficient and welcoming. The problem for us was that the noise level was deafening. I'm so glad the outside window is open for ice cream orders. Now I know the noise is just too loud inside for me.

The only place that I REFUSE to try again is Via Napolis --- The food and service were AWFUL! This was in November of 2019. It took us 30 minutes to have our drink order taken. Then they finally took our food order about 20 minutes later. It was me, DH and my dad. My dad only went to WDW twice, and I felt so bad for taking him here. It was on my actual birthday and we saw several tables being sung to and having a dessert with a candle being served, so my dad secretly told the server that it was my birthday, and ....nothing. I was ok with that, but my dad was very upset about it. My dad and I ordered a pizza to share, DH ordered a pasta dish. After about 40 minutes after ordering, the waiter brought the pasta dish and said it would be a few minutes on the pizza. DH tried to wait for the pizza to come before eating, but I convinced him to go ahead with his meal. (We consider it rude to begin eating before everyone is served), I'm so glad I did, because it took another 45 minutes before the pizza arrived. (I consider it bad service if the meals do not arrive together or at least within a minute or two of each other). And, the pizza was burnt on one side and raw/soggy on the other. DH said his pasta dish was ok, nothing special though. We never got a single drink/water refill this entire time! We complained to the manager about the food and wait time, and they offered us a complimentary dessert, which we declined because we just wanted out. This was the single worst restaurant experience of my life! And we dine out quite a bit! The only good thing that came of this meal was that I got a great picture of my dad laughing which really captured his personality. He passed away unexpectedly this past January and we used this picture at his service.

I have found Disney restaurants for food quality and serve are hit and miss one time its good the next it's terrible and it should not be that way. I guess they figure they have a captive audience so they don't care.

I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest peacefully
