I was looking over the menus today and I was at a loss at a couple of our planned restaurants on what we should try. Hoping some of you can suggest some delicious things to try!

Paddlefish - are there any sides or meals that are must haves/must try?

Jiko - Best appetizer at Jiko?

Artist Point - is there anything other than the mushroom bisque that is a must do for Artist Point?

TIA!

I can't help you with Jiko or Paddlefish, haven't eaten there. But my home resort is WL (DVC) and we've heard that Artist Point will be under going changes. Exactly what it is and when, not sure. I did see a thread about it though.

We'll be there within the month so hopefully not before we get there! lol

My wife and I love Artist Point. We get the Artisanal Cheese. From there, it depends on your likes. I love the Buffalo Short Loin...it is so tender and have never gone wrong ordering it. I did occasionally venture out and have the slow braised venison but I keep coming back to the Buffalo short loin or bison filet. My wife has had the Filet Mignon, cedar plank salmon and buckwheat ravioli and had never had a complaint.

Artist Point, the Artisanal Cheeses were very good! Much better than expected.
Jiko we've done the tenderloion and the shrimp. Both very good.

Jiko
App: Berkshire Pork Tenderloin.
Entree: Snake River Farms Wagyu Strip Loin -
Macaroni and Cheese, Kachumbari, Brussels Sprouts, South African Red Wine Sauce

Paddlefish: Lobster "corn" dogs. Truth in advertising here. If you're set on Paddlefish, then that's fine. If not, you might try checking out reviews on various social media sites. In general, they don't have a very good reputation. We've been twice and thoroughly disappointed both times. . .except for the lobster corn dogs. Still, some have loved it.
Artist Point: Buffalo is usually good but order no more cooked than medium (med rare better). If you enjoy house made donuts, theirs are excellent. Of course, there is the current version of the berry cobbler. Not as good as, say, five or six years ago but still tasty. As for AP, enjoy it while you can. Not sure when it reopens (it will close sometime in late October/early November) that it will be a Signature.
