Hi, we have decided to go half board plus for our stay in April and have been advised to make reservations in the restaurants, looking for recommendations of where to eat for our 4 night stay, also what time is best to reserve a table as wouldn't want to miss the parade etc/

Bistro Chez Remy - don't miss it, it's fab. Also Cafe Mickey as it's a character restaurant which is good fun.
Other plus restaurants are Blue Lagoon (in the Pirates of the Carribean ride), Walts (Main St.) and Annette's (in Disney Village).

You can also eat at the restaurant in your hotel (Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge and Hotel New York are all plus category). Or you can use your vouchers at face value to eat in a premium restaurant and pay the difference.

The parade is currently on at 5:30, so you could make reservations between 6-6:30 depending on where the restaurant is. We had our main meals at lunchtime which suited us well as we only needed a snack in the evenings.

The theming at bristo chez remy is fab but I didn't find the food all that especially the childrens meals, they were awful.
