Restaurant predicament - Ohana or Le Cellier?

So we (2 adults, 2 kids DS5/DD8) leave for WDW in 15 days and in the last 24 hours I was able to secure dinner ADR's for Le Cellier and Ohana for our day in Epcot. My predicament now is which do I pick?? We have never been to either of them. Le Cellier is for 4:45pm (a little early), Ohana is 6:15.
Which would you keep? Also, how long does it take to get to Poly from Epcot?

I would keep the Ohana. The food at Le Cellier is great, but the food at Ohana is really good too, and the atmosphere is way more fun for kids. This is our family's favorite place to eat because our children have a great time, and we still get to have food my husband and I enjoy eating.

no contest. Keep Le Cellier.

'Ohana is just OK food...Le Cellier is top notch. And no travel when you're already at Epcot.

Chances are you'll wait for a long time to get seated at that time at 'Ohana, too-they start backing up by 6 p.m....whereas you'll probably get seated after just a short wait at Le Cellier. then you can have a relaxing evening at Epcot.

To get from Epcot to Poly...you can either take the monorail from Epcot to the Transportation & Ticket Center, then walk from there to the Poly (10 min) or switch monorail lines to the resort line (which can take 5-20 min. depending on if you just miss a monorail) Total time 30-45 minutes. Or you can take a Poly bus from Epcot...30-45 minutes depending on how long you have to wait for a bus. Disney officially tells you to allow 60 minutes but unless it's a very busy time you should be able to do it in less than 60 min.

cathy,
I agree le cellier i hear is better..I will find out on xmas eve..when our Candlelight processional lunch is here..its 2:30..but hey cant be too picky..since its very busy time...I see you are from nebraska..where? my family and I are from lincoln..62 more days till DW trip..surprising the kids cant wait

Tough choice to have to make. I love them both..but if I had to pick one I'd go with Ohana. I can't imagine going to Disney w/o eating there. If I could eat at only one TS restaurant on my entire vacation trip I'd have to pick Ohana.

For us it would be easy - Le Cellier :thumbsup2 We go twice every trip. We've only done 'Ohana once - and only once. It was so bad we are not willing to try it again.

LeCellier hands down. We've done both many times. Ohana's got old for us after the second time. Chances are you'll get into Ohana's the next time, but getting into LeCellier is no easy task.

Thanks for all the opinions! Right now I'm leaning a little bit towards Le Cellier only because it will be a lot easier to just eat in Epcot instead of having to leave the park. Ohana does sound like a great time for the kids and the menu looks delicious, but with 3 character meals already planned it might also be nice to eat somewhere a little more subdued.

LeCellier is one of our favorite restaurants so my vote is to stay at Epcot and enjoy dinner there, especially since you already have 3 other character meals planned. The food at LeCellier is excellent (filet with mushroom risotto, cheese soup, breadsticks) and your children will like the presentation of the chocolate "moose" dessert.

Went to both with the kids (8 and 12) on our last visit. Having seen your post, I asked their opinion last night about which they'd choose if they had to choose one over the other. They chose Le Cellier! I really like both, but I'd definitely have to agree! :)

Being that Le Cellier will soon be a 2 credit Signature Dining experience, I'd recommend keeping that ADR and going to 'Ohana on your next visit.

Ohana's dinner doesn't have caracters...or at least that's what the site says.

That's correct. Only the 'Ohana breakfast has characters. The 'Ohana dinner does have live entertainment, coconut races, etc., but no characters. It is fun for the kids.

Thanks everyone! Definately a good point about trying it before it becomes a 2 TS credit signature restaurant. Will have to try Ohana on another visit. Its just not possible to fit everything into a 5 night visit.
