So our 180 day mark is approaching, and we've got a list of places we're thinking of booking...
We've both been before, so have done some of the places before and others are new to us, just looking for some input on anywhere else we may want to try, or any comments on the ones we have chosen.

Thanks in advance!

Sci Fi - Dinner
Garden Grill - Dinner
1900 Park Fare - Dinner
50s Prime Time Cafe - Lunch
Sanaa - Lunch
Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Package)
Crystal Palace - Breakfast
Coral Reef - Dinner
Trails End - Dinner
California Grill - Dinner
Tusker House - Lunch
Planet Hollywood - Dinner
Le Cellier - Dinner

:)

Good choices! We have done a few of those.. Trails End is one of our faves! It's a must every trip!
We did 1900 last year for the first time and just loved it!! The stepmother was absolutely hilarious!!
50's was good too, the chicken pot pie was fantastic!!
We also love Ohana, Via Napoli, Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk, Be Our Guest & Whispering Canyon breakfast

These are strictly just my opinion:

Garden Grill - Dinner -- Epcot has such better choices than GG, unless you're going for the characters
Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Package) - Mama Melrose is much better
Le Cellier - Dinner - for the 2 dining points, I would sooner go with STK or Boathouse

A few of our other favorites are Be Our Guest dinner, Rainforest Cafe, Raglan Road, Akershus, Cinderellas Royal Table, and Ohana

Thanks :) We did BOG last time and had a terrible experience so aren't keen on going back for dinner, but definitely thinking of trying it for lunch, as I hear such good things, i'm hoping our server just had a bad night and our faith can be restored! Was toying with Ohana though, but couldn't quite decide, do you think breakfast or dinner is more worth it there?

We did Mama Melrose last time, so was thinking maybe something different? We've done CRT before, and again as above with BOG and Ohana, if you have a preference there? Also heard great things about Raglan Road, so may look into that too. Do you definitely need a reservation for that, or would I maybe be able to get one when we're there if we make a last minute decision?

Sci Fi - Dinner: This is a fun place, I'm unaware of anything like it...anywhere! The food is fine, consider sticking with burgers/rings/milkshakes.

Garden Grill - Dinner: This is also a fun venue as it rotates very slowly and you can can see a scene from "Living With The Land." The food gets generally good (not great) remarks, and the character interaction is typically good.

1900 Park Fare - Dinner: Used to love this place, but not any longer. A total "pass" for me.

50s Prime Time Cafe - Lunch: Another cute novelty eatery. Younger folks might not quite understand the vibe, but anyone who grew up in the 60s/70s/and probably 80s will appreciate it. Food is good!

Sanaa - Lunch: Haven't been here, but Jiko in the same resort is terrific.

Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Package): If we've eaten here, I don't remember a thing about it. Hollywood Brown Derby is the best restaurant in DHS, not sure if it's available as part of the Fant. package.

Crystal Palace - Breakfast: I know a lot of Dis-ers like this, it's been years since we've been there as my family generally doesn't eat much breakfast.

Coral Reef - Dinner: We gave this up years ago for "meh" quality of food, but we're trying lunch there next trip because we think the little kids will appreciate the aquarium. And it is pretty darned cool.

Trails End - Dinner: This is some of the best comfort food on property.

California Grill - Dinner: Great view for fireworks, but we think the food is overrated and overpriced. Again, a lot of Dis-ers rate CG highly.

Tusker House - Lunch: Excellent food, excellent character interaction, it's becoming a "must" for us.

Planet Hollywood - Dinner: It has just reopened (today I think?) I wouldn't bother, it's basically the same food quality as Hard Rock Cafe, T. Rex, Rainforest, etc. Unless you've never experienced anything like those places, I'd pass. There are too many good eateries at DS to waste time at these places.

Le Cellier - Dinner: Once the most beloved restaurant in all of WDW, the food quality has diminished while the prices have risen. There are better places to eat in WS. If it's steak you're after Shula's/STK/Yachtsman are all better than LC.

I would personally give BOG another chance - the seafood dinner is amazing. For lunch, the pork dish is also amazing. I would personally skip on the turkey or roast beef as they're mediocre at best sandwiches. As for Ohana, we love their breakfast. Dinner haven't been yet, but have been looking forward to having dinner there for years. CRT we've only had breakfast there and weren't huge fans, but heard better things about their lunch/dinner. Raglan Road during busier travel times it can be hard to get a reasonable dinner time reservation so I recommend making an ADR, if none are to be had, you can try giving them a call directly to see if they have any. We're from a very strong irish background, so its always a must do for us but I will say it gets pretty loud (not rowdy) in there with the music, dancing and crowd. :)

Thanks so much for all the details!
Any particular reason you're not liking 1900 Park Fare anymore? We went Coral Reef on our last trip and had a lovely time, and loved the atmosphere of the place.
CG has been on my list for a while, I wanted to do it on Honeymoon, but that was back when it was closed for refurb, so couldn't do then, so it's a definite for this trip, if just for the views and the night.
I've seen quite a few positive reviews of Le Cellier recently, but my Husband is the steak eater, so i'll pass the comments on to him to have a look over and see if he fancies any of the other, over this one.

Haha, we're from the UK so used to a loud pub every now and again! And the food looks good there too!

Hi! I can only comment on a few:

Sci Fi - Amazingly fun atmosphere. Just went for the first time last week. All the children in booths around us were extremely quiet and engaged in the films projected onscreen. Very dimly lit. Food was sub par but I liked the sweet potato fries. Not an atmosphere for conversation. Seats fit 2 people and all seats face forward in a "car" except for a few 4 person picnic tables in the back.

California Grill - Absolutely awesome during fireworks! Try to reserve 1.5-2hours before fireworks begin and ask for the table overlooking magic kingdom. No guarantees but worth a try. The food is in the "fine dining" category so picky eaters might not be pleased with the options. A sample menu should be available on Disney's website to look over. My husband and I love it!

Le Cellier - Overrated. This was always a really hard reservation to get so it built the hype up for us. We finally got a booking on our 3rd Disney trip and it was just okay. We liked the pretzel bread but the food was not impressive. Cheese soup was really salty. It was pretty good but not great. We won't try to go back.

Our favorite Disney restaurant for dinner is Citricos at the Grand Floridian.

Le Cellier has been getting bad reports, lol.... maybe i'll look for something else. I'll have a look at the menu for Citricos, thanks :)

I agree about giving BOG dinner another chance. We have never had a bad experience the 3 times we have been. We love 50's PTC. We go for dinner and it is always busy not sure if is the same at lunch so allow plenty of time. We love CP breakfast. We have enjoyed lunch or dinner at CR. We also love dinner at LC.

Hollywood and Vine: this place often gets ripped in reviews... but i have to say we ALL really liked the buffet fare here. i don't get the hate. it was hot and fresh with lots of turnover. disney jr show not our gig as we have older kids.

Coral Reef - Do not love this place. Food was average at best, placed was PACKED, long wait from reservation time in a packed hallway. it was a monday - epcot was *not* busy at all but apparently every one was at the coral reef!

California Grill - went here our last night we stayed at the contemporary. there was extra fireworks and we thought the food was, on the whole, good. music piped in so that is great too.

Tusker House - loved it! we went in between breakfast and lunch so got to sample both. :)

happy planning!!
