Where can I find restaurant phone numbers without calling WDWDINE? I've looked on the Disney web site and my books, but I can't find phone numbers.

Thanks.

I called guest services for each park and they gave me the phone numbers to the restaurants. I did have the phone numbers to the restaurants I was planning to dine at but I don't think I kept them.

For the resort hotel restaurants you should call the hotel directly and they will connect you.

1) When you call, you do not get the hotel or restaurant.
2) Your call goes to a Call Center.
3) Based upon the topic, the center may call the hotel or restaurant.
4) They ask the hotel or restaurant if they will take the call.
5) At that time, you are put through.

NOTE: This is not to be nasty or anything, but can you imagine the time consumed by staff if they kept answering their own calls all day long? They would not get their own work done. In fact, if you dial "zero" from your hotel room, you get the Call Center, and not the Front Desk.

Interesting--when you think you are calling the Grand Floridian, you're really not.
Anyway, the few times I've called I've always been put thru immediately.

Should add too that I don't believe calling a restaurant directly will help with getting ADR's. I understand they'll refer you right back to WDW-DINE.

AAAAIIIEEE!

I was just reading about vegetarian dining at WDW on allears.net yesterday, and, for some restaurants, it is recommended that you call a day or two ahead to check on veg options. I am veg as are my 2 DDs. I'm only worried about the first restaurant (WCC) at which we will eat (on the day of our arrival) since I can call from the hotel for the rest. Some restaurants have plenty of veg options, esp. buffets and breakfasts (we do eat dairy and eggs). I already have the ADRs.

I guess that I should have put my reason for calling ahead. I can understand why the numbers aren't just listed since people would be calling about ADRs. With the volume of calls, I can see how a filtering method would be needed.

What is the call center number? Is there a toll-free number? I've been using 407WDISNEY for resort/package stuff and 407WDWDINE for my ADRs.

Thanks for the info/clarification.

If you call WDWDINE and let them know you have concerns about vegetarian meals they should be able to connect you to the restaurant or at least give you the number you need to call.
