restaurant / park question

newbie here, so excuse my question if it's a dumb one - if we have reservations for say, 8am, at crystal palace and thepark doesn't open until 9am, how do you get in? also, if you're done say 8:30-8:45ish can you just wander about the park even though it's not "open" yet?

There will be a CM with a list of people with ADR's before the park opens. At MK it was to the far right side. You can't just wander the park, but you can stop for a picture or two in front of the castle with practically noone else in the park. That's pretty nice.
