Restaurant noise level

Which restaurant s should we avoid including ones at city walk? My son can handle volume but not the echoes clinging clanging and Loud combo noise. I watched a video of toothsome emporium and it sounded extremely like what I'm trying to avoid. Headphones maybe an option but prefer it be a place he don't have to worry about. Though we are looking into having them handy for back up. Thanks!

Some places have tvs or music going which can be loud

At rpr, tchoup chop, jakes and island dining room are quiet places to eat

Ok afraid it was like that personally I think the loudness can be an overkill for anyone-gonna have to work on headphones. Counter service possibly. Figure will be eating at parks or citywalk.

For City Walk stay away from Pat O'Brian's. The food was pretty good for price but it's a piano bar and loud. It's more a nightclub than restaurant

It was very loud in Margaritaville due to the live music so we knew this going in. I had to shout to speak with my table mate. The music (not live) was also pretty loud sitting on the patio at NBC Grill and Brew.

Marley is very loud with the live band once it is 9:00 pm

Do not go to the sugar factory by the Orlando eye. At least not at night. It didn't bother me but wow was it loud.

We found Cowfish quiet for a citywalk restaurant.

We couldn't hear ourselves talk in there both times we were there..........it was full to bursting though each time.

Never really found a quiet Citywalk restaurant.......even Emerils had loud voices despite it being a supposed quieter atmosphere.

Citywalk is quite a loud place to be generally OP.

You're going to want to bring earplugs or headphones everywhere, really. Themeparks are NOISY. Disney Springs and Citywalk are no different. They pump in noise, noise, more noise, to make you feel excited, like you're at a very fun event.

You are absolutely right about Toothsome, though at least you could request outdoors seating, but then you've got the Citywalk noise. And rankly it was so noisy even outside that my son and I sat and played games on our handheld devices because we didn't want to shout.

I would be prepared for the ear protection for the whole trip, just in case. Even for counter service. Big noisy echoy buildings.

We had good luck with Vivo Italian Restaurant. We sat on the patio for late dinner and it wasn't loud by any means.
Antojitos though....oof, those loud mariachis.
Cowfish for lunch was nearly silent (unless I'm forgetting music), but I couldn't tell you how it is for dinner.

Good to hear. Think we are going to try lunchtime at Cowfish this year.......only had dinner there last year.

I was going to suggest Vivo or Red Oven. Red Oven is more QS but with the open air feel, seems help disperse the noise.

toothsome is two levels and it is open in a circular fashion and the noise goes UP.
i found it to be really quiet and enjoyable inside toothsome.

I'm wondering how much sensory overload universal is going to be in general. We visit parks around us. Though we try to avoid the load coaster areas. We've been to disney. Will see might need to delay a couple years.
