Restaurant Next Available Table Benefit - Link to the List

Hi Everyone,

I'm heading to Universal with my family tomorrow for 5 nights. Going with DW, DDs, ages 9 and 10, for the 1st time with my DDs (save for a quick visit from a cruise 3 years ago). We are staying at Portofino Bay and have Preferred Annual Passes. I recall reading there is a "next available table" benefit at restaurants associated with either my stay at PB or my preferred AP, I don't remember which one.

Can anyone explain the benefit, and provide a link or list of restaurants that offer this benefit? I seem to recall the benefit is available for CW restaurants, but don't remember if it is available at the park or at the hotel restaurants.

It is your EP (Express Pass) that gets you a shorter wait where taken. When you stay at Portofino, Royal Pacific, or Hard Rock you go to the kiosk in your hotel's lobby. It will take a picture of you & print your Express Pass. That will get you shorter lines for rides, preferred seating at most shows (if you show up before it's full ) and shorter wait times at restaurants that choose to allow that benefit.

Let the host/hostess know you are staying at one of the deluxe hotels if there is a wait.

When we go, it's not that crowded, so I have never used that service...sorry I can't help there.
