Restaurant / Lunch suggestion between Airport and Windsor Palms

hi everyone,

We will be arriving at MCO around 10:30. With baggage and rental car - it will be close to lunch time when we start driving to our villa in Windsor Palms. We will have been up at 4:00 AM and not eaten much - so I'd like a sit down lunch ( nothing too fancy or time consuming that day.

We will be stopping by our villa at Windsor Palms before heading over to MK for a few hours.

Where do you suggest we stop and grab a lunch between MCO and the Windsor Palms area. Not picky - but not Fast Food. Thanks

If you're taking the 417 toll road via the south exit of the airport, there are several restaurants at both the Orange Blossom Tr. exit and the John Young exit.

The ones I remember at Orange Blossom are:
Cracker Barrel
Ruby Tuesday
TGIF
Steak & Shake

Oh, and there's a Super Target at Orange Blossom if you need groceries.

At John Young there are:
Applebees
Tijuana Flats
Texas Steak House....(not sure if I have the right name)
and many more that I don't recall the names

You can find Red Lobster, CrackerBarrel, TGIF, Giordanios, Carrabba's, Outback Steakhouse all in or near the Formosa Gardens Village which is on Formosa Gardens Blvd where you would turn down to go to WP.

There's a million other restaurants within a mile of there: Perkins, Bob Evans, Golden Coral, Pizza joints, other buffets, Black Angus Steakhouse, IHOP, etc, etc.
So I would just drive to that area and then get something to eat there rather than finding a place on the way from the airport. This is the area we usually stay in.
Here's a map with a few of the restaurants marked . Windsor Palms is #13, just move up the map to 192 and you'll find Formosa Gardens Village and the red markers are some of the restaurants there.

There's also a new Super Target about a mile further west, #134 on the map and a Publix across from it at Orange Lake #20 for groceries. These are much better than the MarketPlace grocery store in the FGVillage.
