Hi All-

My wife and DD (8) are headed down for a quick trip this weekend. I am soliciting advice for dinner, we will probably try to do the buffet as that seems to meet DD's desires.

We have done Cape May, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, Cindy's (for breakfast).

Any suggestions on what your kids enjoyed would be very welcomed.

thanks !

What about Crystal palace???? We loved this place.
Does your dd like pooh and friends??
Hoop de doo might be cutting it close for this weekend, I know they get pretty booked. I would call first to see if there is available seating before you go.

Thanks for the tips.....Hoop Dee Doo, we have done, and really enjoyed it.....must see for families!

Anyone have insight into O'hanas?

thanks again!

In my humble opinion, O'hana's is one of the better AYCE restaurants in WDW. The wait staff, while sometimes abrupt, makes sure your plates are full and they will go out of their way to ensure that the kids have something to eat when they don't eat the adult stuff.

One suggestion, after being seated and having given your drink orders, you will be presented with a tray of appetizers (wings, rice, veggies, dumplings: all very good), don't eat too many of these, after a short time, the main courses (beef tenderloin, turkey, pork roast, seasoned shrimp: all on skewers) will be brought to you. My humble suggestion is to balance the appies with the mains.

Remember, leave room for the pineapple and caramel sauce as there is no better taste combination anywhere on earth (IMHO).

E.Z.
