What restaurants are good for viewing Wishes? I was thinking about doing the cruise but I think we're better on dry land.

I've heard Ohana is nice. I'm gonna try on our next trip.

Okay, I've thought about trying Ohanas. Wishes is at 8:00 on our first night there. Will a 7:30 PS for Ohanas work?

I just tried calling and they had a 6:50 PS open for Ohanas so I grabbed it.

Can you see the lighting effects on the castle from the restaurants, or do you need to be on Main Street to see that?

i ate inside the castle in february and i was able to see the fireworks, even though the restaurant is behind the castle and isnt facing main street, i was able to see the fireworks good. It was awesome, they lit up the whole room and they dimmed down the lights inside the restaurant. :bounce:

I second the CG-it was a real experience and we will do it again on our next trip

From Ohanas, you really can only see the fireworks... still beautiful BUT you MUST request a window seat to see it when you arrive and be willing to wait... we didn't because it wasn't a big issue for us, and you could not see them from our table. You can walk around to the other side to view them but you have to bend over because of the levels in the restaurant, and that's just not very comfy for a 15 min show =0

Only those that sat near the windows seemed to view it, the people around us just kept on talking and eating. They do pipe in the music and dim the lights.

CA Grill is the other one to view it at, and i believe they have an observation deck that guests can go out and view it from... I'm not sure if you can see the castle or not.

I think there is something magical about seeing Wishes right on Main St, though it's nice to also see it from afar. I would just do it both ways =)

I'm going to move this to our restaurants board for you.

They do have an observation deck and you don't need ressies at the restaurant to use it. You can see the castle and it is a nice place to view Wishes from.

I agree!!

I believe CG has changed their policies-they had said there was a kiosk on the 4th floor where you had to check in in order to take the elevator to CG-does anyone know if this is still the case?

Okay, so I've never been to Ohanas before, which park should we go to during the day to conveniently get to Ohanas for our PS that same nite? We will have our car so we can drive.

MK-lease your car at TTC and take the monorail to the poly. After just take the monorail to the TTC.
