Title says it all... looking for a rehearsal "meal" (can be any time of day really) for about 30 people. I'd like everyone to be seated together. Suggestions??

My planner arranged for us to have a lunch at Boardwalk Convention Center. I had always pictured a restaurant but when she sent me some really pretty pictures and a few options for meals I saw it was nice and fairly reasonable. I like the idea of some privacy as well. PM if you want the info.

(Ours is October 8th!)

In order to save a little money compared to going through Disney we had our rehearsal luncheon at FRESH inside the Dolphin hotel. There was no charge for the room and we only paid around $25 per guest for food. I even ordered a groom's cake through the hotel's bakery and had it delivered during our luncheon too.

We used the boats which travel between Epcot and DHS to transport our guests there. They have a room which they gave us which was totally private and overlooked the water looking towards the Boardwalk. We had around 25 people and it can be set up for up to 40 if I remember correctly.

Here is the room when we visited during our site visit:

We had a secluded room in Raglan Road. We are Irish so we thought it was totally appropriate. 'Ohana is another good choice.

I did a rehearsal dinner for 40-some people at California Grill; we had the Napa room, their private dining room which seats up to 50. There is the Sonoma room there also, which is a little bit smaller and seats up to 40. It was great :thumbsup2

I know there is a private dining room at Jiko's also, but not sure for how many.

We are having ours at Ohana. When I was recently there I met with a manager, who said to call her directly in May (earliest I could make reservations for August). She gave me her card and got some information from us and was really helpful. She said Ohana can only accomdate parties up to 35.

We used 1900 Park Fare for an informal "Farewell Brunch." I was impressed with their food, it was convenient to the rest of our events (all at the Grand) and it wasn't too crowded. Plus, the characters were a nice "Disney" touch.

Oh...and when you get your annual pass, you can purchase a "Tables in Wonderland" discount card for $60. We were able to then get 20% off this brunch, so that was a nice savings!

How about the Library section at WCC. It's behind the fireplace and everyone would be sat together.
