What is the dress code for the 3 rest. AP, EG, RP on the Dream for dinner

Same as the Magic/Wonder

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO DINNER?

As part of the "Cruise Casual" policy, it is asked that you do not wear tank tops, swimwear or shorts to the dining rooms. Jeans are allowed.

The evening's attire is determined by the day, not the restaurant. On the 7 day cruises you will have a formal night, semi-formal, Pirate/tropical night and four "Cruise Casual" nights. (Disney Cruise Line will provide a brochure for tuxedo rentals prior to your cruise.)

On the 3 and 4 day cruises you will have one night that is designated "dress-up." Gentlmen will be asked to wear a jacket and ladies either a dress or pantsuit.

For the "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed night, guests may wear pirate costumes if they'd like.

For guests who make a reservation at Palo, during dinner gentlemen will be required to wear a dress shirt. Gentlemen wearing polo shirts, t-shirts, Tommy Bahama style shirts, etc will not be allowed admittance. Jackets and/or ties are still recommended but not required. Notices will be in the Personal Navigator, on the Palo reservation card and a sign outside the elevators on deck 10 will contain this dress advisory. The Resort Casual dress code for both the brunch and high tea remains unchanged.

I just returned from the 4 night Dream cruise. Night 1 was cruise casual. Night 2 was optional dress up. Night 3 was cruise casual or pirate attire. Night 4 was cruise casual. The same dress code applies to all restaurants regardless of your rotation.

First time cruiser here ... we are doing a 4 night Dream cruise in 2 weeks. We are not going to Palo or Remy for dinner, so I was NOT bringing a suit for my DH. He doesn't own a sports jacket ... was planning on dockers/polo's for him and DS for dinners, with perhaps one dress shirt and tie (but again with the Dockers). My DSis says it's fine ... but what's with the whole "Gentlemen will be asked to wear a jacket" on the dress up night? Even the code for Palo says dress SHIRT only, that ties and jackets are recommended but not required. Just seems like this statement is off the mark?

Jackets are not required, but DH takes a sports coat and wears it with an open neck shirt because the dining rooms are cold. I might just pack a dress sweater for him for our next cruise so I don't have to pack the sports coat.
On our last 4 night on the Wonder he wore a dress shirt and tie, no jacket, and we were overdressed at our 8 top table.
