Restaurant discount for Disney card holders

I know some restaurants give discounts to guests with Disney credit cards. But do I have to use that card to pay? Or can I use a gift card and get the discount?

i've also been looking for what "see restrictions" means -- has anyone used this discount at jiko and/or flying fish and/or citricos? what are the "restrictions"?? is it what time you dine? something else!?

Been thinking about getting the Disney Visa myself and so I've been looking hard at the incentives!

Of course those dates are for last year, but I imagine you can generalize them to this year as well.

I didn't know about this, I might have to keep this in mind if we go OOP again for dining. 10% is better than nothing and since with gift cards I can only get 5% at Target.
