Just wanted to let everyone know that restaurant.com has some Disney Flordia restaurants available now

Used restaurant.com certificate for House of Blues last time we were there in Oct. Right now with code MEAL you can get at $25 certificate for $2. just ordered one for March trip... they have ones now for the restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin.

DVC members get 20% off at the Swan/Dolphin restaurants. You can't stack the discounts, so do the math before you pay for a certificate. You may be better off with the "free" DVC discount. And unlike the certificates, there is no minimum amount to spend to use the DVC discount. :)

I don't remember the amount of the DVC member discount for HOB, but again, check it out before you buy.

I didn't see any new options. Swan/Dolphin and House of Blues have been on the list for a while as has the Outback restaurant. There are some decent options, we really enjoyed the Angelina's at the entrance to Celebration, it instantly became my SIL's favorite italian.

We always use Restaurant.com. Just be sure to sign up for the email so they notify you when they are available at 80% off. We never buy unless they are 80% off.

Giordano's pizza is on the list also.

Printable...they are really great ...you get a page to print but they also send you a printable email and if you set up an account you can go back in and reprint . You just can't use it 2X. very easy and I don't have it in front of me but the one I got said it does not expire.

They are running a 80% off sale right now on $25 certificates. That means that the $25 certificate only costs $2.00. Just apply coupon code meal at the end of the transaction.

The offer for the Swan/Dolphin restaurants is $10 for a $25 coupon. It includes Shula's, Kimono's, Il Mulino, bluezoo, and Garden Grove.

Where is the Swan/Dolphin offer listed? I looked under "Lake Buena Vista" but it's not there.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it! I was looking in the general directory instead of clicking on the coupon link.

If you apply the coupon code at checkout you will get the certificate for $2 instead of $10. I bought mine today.

Thank you for the discount code! Saved a ton of cash on Swan,HOB, and local places at home!!

we bought a few for our trip last oct. we especially enjoyed HoB, and were happy to experience il mulino (IM was very nice, with impeccable service and elegant atmosphere, but the food fell short - heavy sauces and use of spices didn't mask the use of lower quality ingredients - we were surprised as it is rather pricey, even by WDW standards:confused3).
we didn't use our outback restaurant GC (which is not associated with outback steakhouses), as they had changed their hours for off-season and were closed the 2 times we went. btw, the menu was different than shown on the website.

we would highly recommend the HoB tho:thumbsup2

Where is HOB located? We're so immersed in all things Disney every time we go that we seldom experience anything outside the gates!

House of Blues is in Downtown Disney, near Cirque on the other side of the walkway.
good food, and a great happy hour;)

How does it work? Is it like cash. If you get a $50 certificate and your charge with tip is $40 do you get change? How do you tell if there's an expiration date?

Thanks.
Bobbi

There's a minimum purchase required that is listed underneath each offering. For instance, with the $25.00 certificate for HOB, the minimum purchase required is $50.00. With the $50.00 certificate for HOB, the minimum purchase required is $100.00. The tax and gratuity are charged on the purchase price PRIOR TO the discount. So, for a $50.00 ticket, you'd be paying $50.00 + 18% gratuity + tax on the full amount - $25.00 gift certificate. There's no possibility for change to be due with any of the discount coupons I saw.

The vouchers I just got specifically state on the bottom that there is no expiration date.

HTH! Evey =)
