Can someone give me the down and dirty on Restaurant dot com?

Is it really as easy as taking my "My Points" to get a certificate to the site and then buying a gc for the restaurant of my choice? What's the catch? Any problems?

Well, it's not for the restaurant of your choice. They have a limited number of restaurants in each area that are available, so you can purchase for your choice of restaurants from the list given. Some places have restrictions as far as days or times that you can use the certificate, minimum number of people in your party, or minimum amount spent to use the certificate. Also, your buying a certain $ amount certificate at a discount price - say a $25 certificate for $10.

I have never had any luck withthem myslef. The restaurants availble in my area aren't very good ones, and the certificates are very restrictive on top of that.
