sunday afternoon i realized that there would be more people at the christmas gathering i was going to... so i decided to buy a couple of restaurant.com gift certificates, using sunshine rewards and the cose for 60% off. i read the terms and all to make sure that the code was useable with a GC, didn't find anything that said i couldn't use it.
so, i bought four $50 GC's for $20 each, minus 60%.
well, they charged my credit card the full $80
since it was a weekend PLUS a holiday, i just sent them an email and explained what happened.
this morning i got an email that they were sending my email to another department and to allow 3-4 days for a response. several hours later i got an email that they already credited my card for the difference in cost!
my mom also used one of their GC's last night and was pleased with how it worked.
so, long story longer... i am VERY happy with restaurant.com's service and recommend them.
p.s. there is a code out there now for 70% off!! i think it is cheer or cheers.
