Restaurant.com question

Hi:
We are heading to Orlando in April. Would it be unwise of me to puchase restaurant.com certificates now? Could the companies no longer accept them by April? Also, with a $75 coupon it states that two entrees need to be purchased. We'll have 7 people so I don't see hitting $75 to be a problem but is there any hidden gimmick I should know about?

Thanks.

You can order them now. Just make sure you really read the fine print...what days are they eligible, alcohol can/cannot be used to reach the minimun purchase, lunch vs dinner only, etc, etc. Also, $75 is really high for a minimum purchase so make sure its not a place where entrees cost $5.99 each ;)

I've had really good luck with restaurant.com. I purchased a certificate for a place not too far from me at home, and it closed :( but I was able to get my money back from the certificate. I also tend to buy a bunch when they have their crazy 90% off sales (because when you're paying $2.50 or less) because even if I don't use them it's only a little bit of money that I "lose." We bought 4 certificates last year for Orlando area restaurants, and I paid less than $5 total. The only one we used was for BB King's, and I think I paid $1.80. We thought that we'd use them again before they expire in September, but our plans have changed so I'll probably just cancel them (or even if I don't, it's only a couple of dollars...or I might see if a friend will use them ;)
Like I mentioned though, I've used the certificates locally as well as on vacation, with no issues at all.
