Has anyone ever bought any gift certificates for orlando? I was looking at outback, but it seemed to be more expensive than the other outbacks. Also, has anyone ever eaten at O'Charleys on Turkey Lake Road?

The Outback Restaurant on Restaurant.com isn't Outback Steakhouse,it appears to be an individual called The Outback Restaurant.

I should have read more closely before I ordered a cert for this restaurant. It's VERY expensive and definitely not related to the chain. We also had a terrible time finding it since it's inside a hotel.

We also bought a certificate for the outback (knowing that it wasn't the chain) but we didn't end up using it so I passed it onto friends who are heading down in May. We tend to buy a bunch when they have the 90% off sales, because how can anyone resist!!?? We had great luck using the BB King's certificate. We also bought for Pacini's and Kool's Oak something or other, but Pacini's wasn't open for lunch during the week (burned on that one!). We had also bought on a while back for the restaurant that was in the Sheraton by Universal (the round one that is now a Four Points), but they didn't start serving dinner until 6 and we were off to a basketball game so we got burned again. But like I said, we were usually using the 80-90% off codes, so it's not a big deal.

I have tried and LOVE Cricketeer's Arm in the Mercado shopping center on International Drive. I went with my 31 year old son who is a chef. We had an appetizer to split, each had a HUGE sandwich (I had Roast Beef Au Jue and he had corned Beef) dessert and 2 drinks each. We went during happy hour when the drinks were buy one get one free. the waiter added the drinks to the bill. Our total bill came to $35.71 with tip and we had leftovers.
I have a coupon for the next time I go to Orlando waiting.
I also have one for O'Charly's. I have never eaten there but the menu looked good.
I always get the TGIF on Sandlake Road but they sell out long before the coupons go on 80%. If I plan to go to Orlando I make sure to get that one early in the month.
this trip I am trying a few new places and will let everyone know. I have coupons for House of Blues which I am sure is good, and Taste over past downtown Orlando because their menu looked good too.
