Has anyone used the Giordano's restaurant.com lately? I can't find them on the website anymore so I'm wondering if I can still use the certificates.

I have had some other issues similar. Anyway, it can go either way. This happens because you have restaurants belonging one year and then quitting the next year. Per restaurant.com they are suppose to honor them, but it doesn't always happen. Some places even go out of business. You can call the place and ask if they still honor them. I don't think restaurant.com forces them hard to stick to their original agreement. Restaurant.com will allow you to exchange the certificate or get future credit for another place.

hmm.. I have one left I bought at the beginning of the year, was hoping to use in Oct. I might give them a call, plus write restaurant.com to see if they will accept it or not?!

We called the Sand Lake location and they indicated that they are still accepting them. I would suspect the other locations will also. I doubt restaurant.com would have any insight in to it.

If you go in your account to restaurant.com you can see your certificates and if the restaurant no longer accepts them you should see some sort of link that allows you to replace it.

I contacted restaurant.com and they said this:

Contractually, restaurants are obligated to honor outstanding certificates even if they aren't on the site to sell new ones. If we find out your certificate has become unusable (Ex: Restaurant closed, new owners aren't accepting), we'll email you an alert and place a Red Notice in your account under the certificate to alert you as well. Worse case scenario, you're welcome call the restaurant to double check. Hope this helps!

how strange that this was brought up again.. I just called Giordano's this morning and explained that I hadn't used my cert. from restaurant.com and that I knew they were no longer going through them, but would they still accept the cert. and he told me that yes they would as long as it is not expired that they have to accept any that are out there... :thumbsup2

Makes me wish I had printed the ones out that we had in our Restaurant.com account. I don't usually print the certs until we plan to use them. I was forced to exchange them back in for generic eGift cards.

took our son to see WWE this past Sat. and went to the Sand lake location and true to their word they do take the certificates! Once again did not disappoint..was yummy!! :thumbsup2
