Looking at buying some of those $2 gift certs, but I'm also looking for the best deal (and shula's definitely doesn't look like a deal).

So what's your opinion? What is the best for your money?

I got the HOB in Orlando and I really enjoyed our meal. It was very affordable with the certificate. They were also well versed in how to handle the certificate and it was no big deal getting it applied to the check.

We used our Giordano's cert. this past week in Orlando.....spend $35 to get $25 off. It ended up being $18 with tip and we had pizza leftover! We did drink waters though.

Another vote here for House of Blues. We love the food and atmosphere!

I also have to chime in with using the certifcate at HOB was a wonderful experience - and the food was yum yum yummy!!!

Hi
How was the meal here?

TIA

BB Kings was great! You could use the certificate for food, alcohol and merchandise. We bought a 100.00 cert for 8.00 and had no problem spending over 200.00 between 4 adults and 2 kids! The food was surprisingly good.

We have a few of these certificates we're hoping to use. Kimonos at the Swan hotel is one. Mostly sushi but a few other options. That one is a spend $35 get $25 off. Dh and I ate there once before as a "light" meal and enjoyed it. (DH doesn't do sushi either) Didn't need a reservation and were seated right away around 5:30ish.
Also doing the Garden Grove restaurant at the Swan. That one is $25 off 2 entrees. Buffet that is around $30 per person, so almost half off before tax/tip. The buffet rotates between 3 "themes" during the week. Haven't tried this one before but it looks pretty good.
Also got the Giordano's certificate and I am curious to know how the pizza is there from anyone who has tried it. Probably cancelling a Via Napoli lunch ressie to do this instead since I couldn't pass up the price!
Tried to use a BBKing's certificate last year only to get to the restaurant and find out it was closed for a private function! I'm sure that was just a completely random fluke (and my luck) but, since it's a bit more of a drive from WDW property, I'd call ahead first. I'm really hoping to make it back there since the menu looks awesome!:goodvibes

I tried to use ours and it was a private party and closed that night! GRRRR!!!!

I have it to use for next time though.
