Anybody know of a website that shows a breakdown of table/group sizes for sit down restaurants? Or how many tables they have dedicated to 6 or 8 people? Booking ADRs right now and curious to see how realistic getting tables for larger parties would be vs splitting up and getting two tables.

Never seen anything like that and since they can push tables together it would be near impossible to manage something like that online. Reality is that Disney isn't that advanced. You really just need to play the Disney game and try, try and try again different ways. If I were booking a large group I'd start trying and call in at the same time, might get lucky and get a CM on the phone that can help navigate things quicker.

No single source, unfortunately. But if you scroll through, fair number of threads here reporting how various restaurants have handled larger groups. I think six is generally pretty do-able at most restaurants. For parties >6, generally, the restaurants at Disney Springs (reservations also available through Open Table) are a good bet. I've seen bigger tables at Boathouse, Homecomin'. Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia. Similar for the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin (bluezoo, Il Mulino, Shula's). In the parks, I've done a party of 9 at a single table at Via Napoli and La Hacienda de San Angel (note that the latter was in an alcove with no window view). Space 220 and Yak and Yeti split us, which was fine.

I’ll add that I was just there with a group of 8, and all of our reservations were for 8. We did San Angel Inn, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, Akershus, Splitsville, Cinderella’s Royal Table, had BoG but cancelled, Cape May, also had Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern but cancelled, Oga’s Cantina, and Wine Bar George. BoG, CP, and LTT I made and modified the day before MNSSHP, and then everyone decided they didn’t want to waste time on a sit down meal 🙄.

No worries. I'm well versed in the adr game, tips, tricks, and shenanigans. We are booked everywhere we'd like at target times but split tables. Just curious if anyone knows likelihood of getting one table....mainly looking at places like steakhouse 71; many, many openings for 4; but can't get a res for 8, it's a relatively large restaurant and surprised they don't have more large tables/flexibility.

We ate breakfast at Steakhouse 71 back in early August and were seated (as a group of 2) next to a round table of 7, along with two, extremely well-behaved service dogs. There was another large group seated at a round table as well, so they do have large-group capabilities.

Someone who is a server at Steakhouse 71 posted several months ago that their largest table seats 7. Not sure if that poster is still here & will answer. But seems like no, you won’t get an ADR for 8 there.

Those with larger parties spread over two tables should stop in to the restaurant as soon as possible in the day (or even in the days preceding) to give them the heads-up so they can plan to seat the party at a large table.
