Favorite meals - California Grill, Jiko, Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia, Raglan Road. Sushi at California Grill is my all time favorite Disney meal.
Restaurants to avoid - I'm a big believer in trying everything once, and we've never had a meal at Disney so bad that I'd warn others away. Restaurants I don't plan to go back to - Pecos Bills & Cosmic Rays, for the chaotic-busy table hunt at meal times, Yak & Yeti and Planet Hollywood for the very LOUD atmosphere (both had pretty good food, though), Ohana because the meat-fest just isn't my thing.
Most atmospheric - Sci-fi (just stick to the burgers & onion rings, they don't do their more involved dishes as well). Cinderella's Royal Table (so-so food, but the experience of eating in the castle makes it worth doing once). California Grill at sunset or during the fireworks.
Must try desserts - The almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosees! Honorable mention to the pineapple & cream cheese wontons at Yak & Yeti.
Must try snacks - As you may have gathered from my dessert list, I'm not big on sweets. Dole whip floats are nice, refreshing and not too sweet, and the chocolate covered strawberries at Main Street Confectionery are huge and fresh, but I use most of my snacks for drinks or fruit.
Best alcoholic drinks - Nothing beats a glass of rosa regale and a nice spot to watch Illuminations. The ice wine flight at Artist Point was lovely. I had a wonderful moscato d'asti on our waitress's recommendation at California Grill, but I can't remember the name now. And the Marsha's Martian (milkshake with Baileys and Kahula) at Sci-Fi.
