Restaurant Akershus?

Is this considered a buffet lunch even though we order off the set menu? i am asking because we will be going with our DS5 who is considered a child and DD2(2months away from 3), who usually can eat more than her brother! I believe at the other buffets we are eating we can get her a plate, but what do we do here? Does she eat from our plate or do we get to order her something? No flames please, just wondering?

There is no set menu. It is a buffet for the appetizers. You do get a choice of entrees, which they will refill or bring different entrees is you wish, and then stere is a standard desset combination.

As long as DD is less than 3 there is no charge.

I just called it a set menu because you can "order" your entree, I am still wondering though, if DD2 gets to order an entree off child's list of entree's or does she eat from ours?

If the child orders something you will be charged.

I think I will order something she would eat then and we can share. I think she would like just about anything except the open face salmon sandwich. Thanks. Hoping Cinderella will be there.

They do have things on the kids menu for lunch too. Pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips...I am sure she could find something to eat on there.

Cinderella is sometimes (rarely) but not usually there...

If you're set on her, I'd go to 1900 Park Faire for dinner.

Cinderella was there when we went to Akershus for dinner last December. I am not sure about lunch appearances.

Hi! We just ate there this past Sunday, and DS2 got to eat off the buffet for free, but if we had ordered him an entree, we would've been charged. We just let him eat off our plates, and it worked out fine--in fact we had tons of food left-over (and all 3 of my kids are big eaters!). Also the dessert platter at the end of the meal is for everyone to share.
